Tibby's 16th Birthday [OPEN to ANY]

"NO! You have to MAKE ME!" I yell, joking with my brother Felix. He runs after me, and I stumble around the small house, and fall on the bed. He picks me up and start carrying me out of the house. We are both laughing. Today was my birthday, and he wanted to take me to get a surprise. See, Felix was my twin but he was much bigger and stronger than I. When I woke up an hour ago, we both rejoiced that I was feeling okay. Usually I'm very sick, see, and can't walk around without bending over in pain. Occasionally I get a free day, and today it was on my birthday!

"It looks like I've done a good job," he says, as we enter the square. He had also shown me the money he'd saved, and we were going to get some ham. Putting me down, and reaches into his pocket so he can get the food. I sit on a bench to wait for him and let the excitement build. Today was going to be great. The snow even looked brighter.

I wait for five minutes, then ten, then fifteen. When Felix fails to show up, I stand to look for him. Immediately I sit back down, eyes wide and stomach tight. I groan and shut my eyes tightly. The flip-flop of my stomach pulls my into a ball faster than lightning, and my excitement drains for every stab. I suppress a yell, and try to wait for Felix. Another five minutes passes.
