Why couldn’t she just stretch her arms out and catch the wind in her wind-beaten hands. Why was she so restricted to what Faith wanted? Faith wasn’t the ruler of neither the world nor Vesper’s mother and there was no way in hell she was going to control her. Vesper has always been a free girl; she reigns her own land and walks over the prairies as she surveys her citizens of sheep. It is the peaceful life, sitting up on a fence and watch balls of fluff walk around and chew the grass between their knotted teeth. It it wasn’t hat, she was out getting supplies for her vain older sister. “Ves, please pick up some make-up while you’re at the shop dear,” she would say, and “Vesper, remember those rolls you have to get. Make sure they don’t become cold while you are walking home.” Faith always asked too much of her, the queen of laziness and sitting around.
