"I'm almost caught up alright, jeez, can you just get rid of him please" Cranberry rolled her eyes at her sisters reaction. She didn't mean to bug her, but she wouldn't have her being behind because of some stupid boy. She looked over at where Gordy was. He was walking over to them. He was about to join in on their conversation. Cranberry quickly ended the situation. "Fuck off Gordy." She was quick at giving another glare, ending the situation as he walked away. That kid's getting smarter. Cranberry still didn't like him, but at least he seemed to know to not bug her when there were multiple weapons nearby.

"I challenge you, Cran, to a dual, the last one standing is the winner" Cranberry smirked at her sisters challenge. Not only did she enjoy beating her sister, it gave her an opportunity to become better. Before she could accept her challenge, Sapphire showed her prowess with the blade by removing the head of a nearby dummy. "Not bad." Cranberry responded, with slight amounts of condescension escaping her voice. Honestly, it was mostly to sound as if she could do better. She was rather impressed with Sapphire. "Alright sis, challenge accepted."

Cranberry went to the nearby weapons racked, and picked up the sword she had the least experience with; a katana. She preferred the double sided swords, but practiced with the traditional Japanese blade in case it was needed. She remembered the time her sister beat her. She was happy for her sister, but very disappointed in herself. I won't let that happen again... She walked back to the center of the training area, ignoring the crowds of people now watching them. The two sisters raised their blades, ready to strike. Strike first for certain victory! Cranberry ran forward and struck at her sister, without holding back her strength.

"Alright, sis, challenge accepted" her sister replied. Saphire colored eyes followed her as she picked up a Katara. what is she doing, she has so little experience with that weapon? she wondered. Surely her sister would have picked something better than that, but no. She smiles a small smile, knowing this is going to be an easy win before her sister attacks her, not holding back anything. She's not ready for it and receives a stab in her arm. It hurts but she won't let a little pain stop her. "That all you got sis" she challenges. She knows that her sister is stronger than her but she won't let her sister see that.

The two of them circle for a moment before Saphire remembers where her sisters weak spot is; just under her knees, that was how she'd taken her down before. She darted in

Saphire growls as she realizes she barely hurt her sister. She wishes she'd done more. By now, a small crowd has gathered around the fighting arena, some of them bet on who they think will win while others, including her supposed Boyfriend Gordy, cheer for them. Come on, girl, get your head in the game and don't be such a wuss, you can beat her, I have faith in you the annoying voice in her head was actually chearing her on? That was amazing and kind of odd at the same time. She shook her head, knowing her sister would retaliate. Her arm still stung from the wound but she completely ignored it, able to block out pain as well as any other career.
Notes that was supposed to be an insta kill but I decided not to make it an insta kill because I don't actually want to kill Cran. The insta kills won't count alright.

"That all you got sis?" Cranberry was just beginning. She was about to go in for another attack, but before she could, Cran was struck in her calf. She was able to move quick enough to avoid it being stabbed, but the blow was strong enough to cause a painful bruise. Her calf seemed to be the unlucky part of her body; always under some kind of stress. Her sister was convinced it was her weak spot after she first struck it, and after so long of it being attacked or aching from constant excercise, it honestly did seem like her achilles heel. She put the pain in the back of her mind, trying not to let it distract her, as she prepared to attack again.

She hadn't been paying much attention, and the size of the crowd had just dawned on her. It seemed most of the training facility was watching this fight. It didn't make a difference to her; she was fighting her sister, not for popularity. She then heard an annoying voice rising from the audience. Come on, girl, get your head in the game and don't be such a wuss, you can beat her, I have faith in you! I thought I told that boy to fuck off... Cranberry put that thought behind her, and realized she had been delaying her attack. She then struck at her sister. She wouldn't lose this fight because of some stupid boy...

Cranberry groaned in frustration. She let herself get carried away, attacking without planning, and for that, Sapphire blocked her. She backed away quickly, hoping to avoid being attacked. She knew it she would get hurt, but hoped it might lessen the damage. She regretted picking the weapon she had the least amount of experience in, which made her even more frustrated. She picked it hoping her sister would underestimate her because of it, but it only seemed to be serving for her demise. The crowd was beginning to frustrate her more, as she realized the cheers were going more to her sister now than to Cran, taking away some of her confidence. She wouldn't normally care, but she had to admit they were probably right; Sapphire has a good chance of winning for once.[rand=99588625733991413460922816568958141230723159397942673101825848113]

Saphire blocked her sisters next hit easily. Something was wrong, she shouldn't be able to beat her sister this easily. Her sister darted back to avoid her retaliation but Saphire anticipated it. She followed her sister towards the back of the arena. By now, the crowd was mostly cheering for her but she didn't think that was fair, They should know that Cran could do so much better than this. "Come on Sis, I know you can do better than that" she hadn't meant for it to be a taunt but it had come out like one. She looked around and spotted Gordy standing at the edge of the Arena. Gordy, just go away she thought, feeling annoyance bubble up in her. She knew she should do something about him but she didn't quite know what to do about him.

She looked at her sister who seemed to be a little more crestfallen than normal. Saphire decided she would go easier on her, to give her some confidance back. "Tell you what, you beat me and I'll clean your room for a year or something" she said. She didn't really want to clean her sisters room but if that was what it took to get her back in the game she would do it. She swung her sword towards her sister.

Her sword cut her sister in the stomach but it wasn't a bad cut, something that would heal quickly. She didn't know what it would take to make either of them fall but she had a feeling that if they did much more damage, one of them was going to fall. She backed up, ready for Crans next attack on her.
Notes I was thinking we could make the max damage for them is 25 so that they don't get too hurt but enough to make the other submit.
Saphire has 8.5 damage

"Come on Sis, I know you can do better than that!" That taunt had brought Cranberry back to reality. She wanted to slap herself for thinking pessimistic thoughts in the middle of a fight. "Tell you what, you beat me and I'll clean your room for a year or something" The taunt rid her of her pessimistic thoughts, but this had sealed the deal; Cranberry knew she would not lose again. "Alright sis, you got yourself a deal." Cranberry smirked, knowing it would be perfect. Her room was like a normal teenagers; everything was everywhere, except on the bed. "And if you win, I'll let you skip training tomorrow."

After their agreement was made, the fight continued. Sapphire swung her sword at Cranberry, but Cran moved quickly. It wasn't fast enough, as her stomach was cut. Nothing terrible, but she was still wounded. "Watch the jacket!" Cranberry recovered quickly from the tiny cut, then realized a certain sisters boyfriend was right by her boot. Cranberry couldn't help but take this to kick his face quickly. It wasn't exactly a strong kick, but his face was bruised, and he quickly hid back in the crowd, far away from Cranberry. Cranberry returned to the fight, and gave a strategic swing at Sapphire.

It wasn't Cranberry's strongest attack, but she knew if she struck anywhere else, Sapphire might have had a better chance at blocking it. She was disappointed that it was such a small cut, though found it funny how it was right near where her sister was stabbed at the beginning of the fight. Perhaps her arm is like my calf? The thought gave Cranberry a small laugh, though then prepared herself for Sapphire's attack.

She smiled at the thought of possibly being able to skip training the next day. All she'd have to do was beat her sister in this fight. She heard a small grunt as Cran kicked her "Boyfriend" in the face and she watched Gordy disappear into the crowd. Good riddence she thought. Her sisters next blow wasn't too bad, only a small cut on her right arm. She looked at Cran, who was waiting for her to make her next move and Saphire darted in, swinging her sword as she went

Her sword connected with her sisters hand and Saphire could almost feel the pain that her sister must have felt. She felt kind of bad for having done that much damage, she hadn't meant to but she couldn't have stopped it if she had wanted to. She looked at her sister. "You alright Cran?" She asked, looking at her sisters hand. Blood had begun welling out of the injury and didn't look too good. The nurses willl be able to heal it she thought, shaking her head.

She waited for Cran to make her next move, noticing that more people were cheering for her. She felt a triumphant smile creep across her face as she looked at them all. A few of the guys gave her appreciative looks including her ex, Mason, which surprised her. Normally he didn't take much notice in her, even in training. He did praise her sometimes but it was quite rare. She looked away from him, shaking the thoughts of how they used to be and focused on her sister. She could feel a thin trickle of blood coming from her wound in her arm but she felt no pain. "If I win, I'm not coming to training tomorrow" she said, trying to motivate her sister. She knew that Cran wanted her to come to training because it would help her in the games but Saphire had no desire to be a career. She prepared for Crans next attack

Cranberry was quite surprised at Sapphire's speed, and even more so from her willingness to stab her hand. If she had any drowsiness left from that morning, it was gone as she felt the jabbing pain coursing through her left hand. "You alright Cran?" "I'm fine..." Cran said weakly. She wasn't too worried about it, knowing it could be healed after the fight. Her problem was holding the sword again. She couldn't hold the sword in a comfortable way with just one hand, and the pain became much worse when she tried to hold it with both hands again. She put her left hand out of site, keeping it away from the sword, and awkwardly held the katana with her right hand.

"If I win, I'm not coming to training tomorrow." Cran was then motivated to try winning again. Thoughts of giving up then plagued her, but she wouldn't let her sister skip training. If she was ever reaped... Cran never liked thinking of the possibilities. She knew Saph was a very good fighter when it was needed, and was even proving it now. However, Cran still constantly worried about it. Cranberry lifted her sword back up, and with a shaky grasp, swung at her sister.

Cran was surprised at how well it worked out. She thought for sure Saph would be able to block it, possibly knocking the katana out of her hand. The wound looked deep, but nothing fatal at least. Cranberry then backed up, preparing for a quick retaliation. She kept her sword up, still shaking, hoping for a chance at blocking an attack. She was beginning to enjoy the fight, visible from Cranberry's smirk. "I guess we're going to see what my room looks like when clean." Cranberry taunted Sapphire, with a mischievous smirk.

"I guess we're going to see what my room looks like clean" her sister said. Saphire noticed that Crans good hand is shaking unsteadily. Suddenly, a sharp pain stabs through her thoughts as her sister cuts her on the cheek. Saphires hands immediately go to her face and she feels blood, hot and sticky, trickling down her face. Thank god her sister had missed her eye. She puts her hand down, grabbing the sword with both hands, anger rushes through her. How dare she mess up my face She thinks furiously. She's done with hoping her sisters alright because at that moment, she's ticked off at Cran for having messed up her face. "You're going to pay for that" she growls. Then she launches herself at her sister.

Her sword connects with her sisters thigh and a deep gash appears on her leg. She knows her sister won't be able to go on. Saphire is the winner. She looks at her sister, feeling triumph run through her at having beat her sister a second time. "Come on, Cran, lets get healed up, alright, you fought well" she says, offering her sister her hand.

As they head to the medical area, Gordy joins them. He puts an arm around her shoulder and kisses her cheek. "Nice fight, Saph" he says in her ear. She tries to get his arm off her shoulder but to no avail. He keeps a firm hold on her the entire way to the medical area. Once they're there, she helps her sister sit and notices that the gash on her thigh is still bleeding. Thats never a good sign she thinks just as the nurse comes in. "Let me guess, another fight?" the nurse asks. Saphire nods. The nurse rolls her eyes and leads Saphire into a seperate room from Cranberry. I hope she's alright she thinks
