It was no question that the Perri family had been living in the lap of luxury, perfectly comfortable on their cozy little estate in the heart of the district. One of the wealthiest families around, the Perri children had everything they ever could have wanted and more, but dreams have a tendency to turn to dust, and when Mr. and Mrs. Perri perished in a house fire that destroyed their entire home just two months ago, the Perri children suddenly found themselves orphaned and completely robbed of the bright futures they had been so sure of just months before. Torn from the charred wreckage of their lives, they gathered what little they had left and were sent off to the outskirts of Ten to live with an aunt they hadn’t even known they’d had. Elsa Holbrook’s less than modest farmhouse is a far cry from what the Perri children are used to, but when all they have left in their lives is each other, they’ll quickly need to learn to survive in the tragic reality of their strange new world.
LOGAN PERRI - 18 - MALE [played by Cici.]
FC- CARLOS PETERS
Logan lives in constant fear – not for himself, but for his siblings. They’re all he has left, and if something so bizarre and unlikely as a fire could happen, what else could? The roof could cave in on his siblings while they slept, the stove could explode while Juno is cooking, Mal could fall off the roof during one of her stunts and break her neck, the horses could escape from the barn and trample Josie while she plays in the field – to Logan, anything is possible, and he spends almost all his time making sure no harm comes to his siblings. He’s constantly following them around and checking up on them, taping the corners of tables so none of them will scrape their knees, shadowing Harvey and telling him to fix this or fix that so his siblings won’t hurt themselves on it. He’s constantly watching, terrified that the only family he has left will be ripped from his life just like his parents were.
LUCAS PERRI - 18 - MALE [played by Danny.]
FC- CARLOS PETERS
The polar opposite of his twin brother Logan, Lucas was a wild child even before the traumatic effects of the fire. Being a member of one of the wealthiest families in the district, Lucas always had access to the drugs and alcohol he’d always taken for granted. Now, though, with the money gone along with his supply of narcotics, Lucas has begun to feel the effects. Suffering from extreme deprivation and withdrawal, Lucas has become even more reckless and hot-headed. He’ll do anything for a fix, and has resorted to swiping some of his siblings belongings and frequenting the local pawn shop, desperate for any extra money that can buy him just a little of sweet escape from the living hell his life has become.
JUNO PERRI - 17 - FEMALE [played by Roseh.]
FC- TAYLOR MARIE HILL
Despite being the third oldest in the house, Juno is probably the most responsible. She seems to be the only one that’s been able to keep a level head through the past two months, the one who helps Harvey the most around the ranch. The one who cooks and cleans and gets everyone ready for school and gets them to bed on time, she’s become the mother of the household, as Aunt Elsa isn’t exactly the nurturing type. But being responsible for the well-being of her siblings is a stressful job, and she often feels like she has no one to relate to. That is, except for a certain cousin of hers who seems to understand her better than anyone else ever has. In fact, one might say that she has started to develop an affection for the handsome boy - and not a sisterly one.
MALLORY PERRI - 16 - FEMALE [played by Lei.]
FC- ANYA SUMMERS
Mal hasn’t gotten a good night’s sleep in two months, not since the night she awoke to the screams of her siblings and the suffocating stench of smoke that had spelled the demise of her parents and all hope for a bright and happy future. She hasn’t been able to close her eyes since – the backs of her eyelids seem to flash with images of roaring flames and the terrified faces of her siblings, her parents calling out to her – and instead spends her nights in the barn, tending to the horses. Terrified of the hellish nightmares that plague her when she sleeps, she’ll do whatever it takes to keep herself awake, performing even the most reckless stunts for that extra pump of adrenaline, no matter how dangerous. At first, the fear that came with putting herself in life-threatening situations was enough, but she’s recently resorted to cutting, the pain bringing with it icy alertness and an escape from the horrors that sleep brings to her traumatized mind.
SLOANE PERRI - 15 - MALE [played by Dars.]
FC- TIMOTHY KELLEHER
Sloane is the optimist of the family, the one guaranteed to have a smile on his face and a spring in his step no matter how dire the situation – in fact, it’s almost a little unnatural, as if he were trying much too hard to put on a happy face for the family. But Sloane has a secret - his siblings have begun to notice that he’s getting a little thin. The truth is, the trauma of losing his parents in a freak fire has caused a stress-induced eating disorder. His appetite is completely thrown, and now when he does eat, he rarely keeps it down, almost like he’s punishing himself for what happened. Unknown to any of his siblings, Sloane often spends time staring at himself in the mirror, degrading thoughts running through his mind. How he was worthless. Nothing. How his parents’ deaths were his fault. Every day he gets thinner and thinner- it’s gotten to the point where his siblings are starting to wonder how much longer it will be before he no longer even has the energy to smile.
JOSIE PERRI - 13 - FEMALE [played by Willow.]
FC- AGNE NAKROSIUTE
Even though no one ever told Josie that she’d had a twin sister who was born without a pulse, she seems to have somehow known for a long time. Even as a toddler, Josie would sit alone in her crib, seemingly babbling to no one as if she and her “imaginary friend” were the only two in existence. You’d think that at thirteen years of age she would’ve kicked that habit by now, but one could say it has only gotten worse. She now rarely speaks to anyone but this friend of hers, whom she calls “Jodie”, and spends most of her time with who she claims to be the ghost of her twin sister. The rest of her siblings have decided that Josie talking to an imaginary friend is all harmless fun, but they’d think differently if they knew of some of the things they actually spoke about. No one has noticed yet that bad things tend to happen when Josie’s around, like the time the horses somehow got out of their pens and trampled part of the tomato patch, or when Lucas sat on a nail that had been standing upright in his chair, or even when Sloane found a dead mouse floating in his morning cereal. But no one suspects sweet, young Josie of doing such things – they don’t even find it peculiar that she had been the last one in the kitchen the night of the fire…
HARVEY HOLBROOK - 18 - MALE [open.]

If Juno is the mother of the family, Harvey is definitely the father. Despite only having known his long-lost cousins for merely two months, he’s quickly established himself as the head honcho of the household. Growing up fatherless with his vindictive mother, Harvey has learned a thing or two about self-preservation, and he’s no stranger to hard work. He’s got more tesserae than hairs on his head, quit school when he was fourteen to focus on the ranch, and with six new additions to the Holbrook household, has busied himself with renovations to make them feel more at home. He’s the definition of chivalry, though stubborn as a mule with a head as thick as his accent. He much appreciates the extra help he gets from Juno around the ranch – a little too much, actually.
ELSA HOLBROOK - 43 - FEMALE [npc/open.]
Elsa seems to have harbored a grudge for the immense success her late sister had in life – at least, before she died in a freak accident. Elsa was never the prettier one, the smarter one, the one with the winning personality. While her sister escaped from their run-down ranch home and married one of the wealthiest men in the district and was busy making the six most darling children around, Elsa ended up stuck with the family estate, struggling to keep the animals well-fed and making ends meet, and with a kid she didn’t even want to top it all off. Now, though, with her sister’s spawn running around in her home, will she finally have what she needs to exact her revenge?
