Why you think they'll fit the part: She is pretty much the epitome of The Princess, born rich and spoiled, but also the baby of the family, always craving more. She can be a total bitch but most of the time she's more focused on maintaining her status as tippy top of the local social tier. That's hard to do if you piss everyone off all the time. But she thinks snide remarks much more often than she says them, and can be totally baffled when she intends to compliment someone and they take it as an insult.

July is starting to mature out of her bratiness, but she has her moments. She wants what she wants, and she wants it now. She thrives on being with her friends, hates it when she's trapped at home, except that it gives her time to think about her dark secret in private.

Plot ideas: Yes, July is part of the Capitol Lovin' [12 Months Plot] which has mysteriously disappeared from the plot boards xD I'll try track it down soon. She is the mid-summer month, beautiful and obscenely popular, and completely dissatisfied with herself and her life. She cultivates friends and enemies, always conscious of her social stature. She is definitely the queen bee.

As for plot ideas, here's where I think this could either weave together well or totally asplode xD July is also secretly lesbian, and has been dating her beard, Christoph, for years now. She's never admitted this fatal flaw to anyone. This is quite similar to The Criminal and I haven't plotted out an endgame girl for July yet. It could be that she runs to The Criminal, drawn to her in spite of herself when they both have something to hide. Or maybe it's too similar, I'm not sure xD

I really love writing July and I'd like to have the opportunity to do so more often ^^

It was a hot mid-summer day and July was in her element. While most of the rest of Panem sweated in the sunlight, she glowed, warmed by its presence, filled with light. She dressed for the day, having recently rearranged her closet to shove the winter's drear back into the recesses and bring forth summer. She had bolder patterns to select from, to be sure, but she had recently noticed an understated trend sweeping the Capitol. It couldn't last; they so loved their shapes and neons. But for now, it was an excellent excuse to recycle a dress her mother had picked out and she had never liked. July paired the short skirt with four-inch heels, which only made the length of her legs go on for days and days.

And July had plans for this summer. It would not go down as the one she failed her family, oh no. She intended to rise above, to be the last regal daughter of the Jacquez's.

Her spike heels clicked on the pavement as she turned from the city circle down style street. July had her faux-blonde curls wound tightly into a high ponytail, beginning at the very top of her head. They fell just to below her ears, so high was the starting point, and bounced with the merest suggestion of movement. She'd found tiny diamonds to pair with the outfit, and they glittered in the afternoon sun, the perfect complement to the sea of her eyes. July adjusted the backs anxiously. She wouldn't be punished if she lost them; when was July ever punished? But she know how much the hard little stones meant to her mother. A sign to all how wealthy they had become.

July passed the first few shops without even a nod or a smile. Today she had other thoughts and she couldn't be distracted by cute clothing! But oh, a glitter boa, how could she resist? Her heels, damn them, naturally carried her over to the shop's front, where she salivated over the boa, wondering how soft its feathers might be. But no! Focus! July gave a curt nod to the shopkeeper behind the window, turned and moved forward.

With the summer blazing away, she saw many of her classmates out and about, trying to make the most of their time. None approached her, of course, it would be social suicide. But she caught enough attention to feel as though she were parading down the school hallways. She wanted to snap at them, remind them that they were not in school and there were plenty of distractions. No need for gossip. But then, without gossip, where would she be? Tricky, tricky. And it was exactly the rumor mill that had propelled her to the street in the first place. She needed something, anything, to distract from the burning, the knowing. July was very careful not to study anyone's face too long, especially the girl's. What was happening to her?

And then she spotted him. A little older, debonair, a catch by any standards. But by hers? July hadn't dated, which only added to her mystique, and now would undoubtedly be her downfall. She had to choose carefully, and her first choice would have been Gaius, if that didn't have so many heavy consequences. To lose him as her best friend and confidante, once he realized what she had become - it was too much. And so July coated another layer of gloss on her lips, smacked them together, and then crossed the street. She stepped right into his path.

"Christoph," she smiled winningly, dimples forming, and filled the name with warmth as though they had spoken more than the handful of times they actually had. "You look like you could use some company." July swept her gaze around, just to be sure she wasn't taking him away from his family. Anyone else would have to just step aside.

Why you think they'll fit the part: Well, she's pretty much perfect. She's snobbish, she treats herself as a princess and is very judgmental of other people. I really think she fits the character perfectly.
Plot ideas: Well, she's part of the Shore family so she could probably get a few of her siblings involved at some point. I'd also be open to shipping her with Jesse as we've talked about

Your first choice of character: The Basket-Case, Leena Foxworthy
Your second choice of character: Eh, I just want Basket Case, but second choice shall have to be Brain. If I end up having the Brain, name shall be chosen.
Why you chose them: I chose the Basket-Case (Leena) because she sounds very interesting. I love the idea about how she's 'strange' and her face kind of reads 'GO AWAY' in big capital letters XD I think she's quite reserved so that would be quite interesting. I haven't actually made any strange characters before and there's a first time for everything XD As for the Brain, well I chose her as second choice because I like her personality. But I don't really want the Brain tbh cos Sarella wants him/her.
How you'll portray them: As stated above, Leena will be very reserved and keeps herself to herself. She does not want to talk to anyone and prefers to be that girl who's standing alone in the corner. Her mind is wide and spacious, with many interesting thoughts crammed inside, but she never expresses these in actual emotions or speech. Instead she keeps her thoughts and emotions inside her mind, which has led her to become a bit, what people call strange. Sometimes not everyone agrees that Leena should be left alone, therefore they begin to bully her. bullying y'all Leena doesn't take anything hard, so she will just be quiet, let them rant and show no signs of crying. She will let them rant, then remain so she doesn't care. She is not a cry baby sorry I couldn't think of any more words to describe crying a lot and likes to hide her emotions. She is always inside her own world, off in another land.

It’s a quiet morning in the district. I’m in the kitchen, with my mother, who is pale and sweaty. Worried that her child will be sent to her death. I cannot do anything to help soothe her worries, for I have those worries myself. I won’t die. I refuse to die. I repeat the words in my mind, for they have given me a little encouragement. Even if I’m reaped, I will not die. I will stand tall and show them I am not just a tool. I’m a person, a real person, a human being. They can’t own me, control me like a floppy doll. When I was a little girl, I played with those dolls. My mother loved how it made me so happy. I was oblivious. Oblivious to the fact that every year 24 unfortunate, helpless children were sent. 24 go in, and one comes out. The rules are simple, but I do not agree. I’m not going to play any game on anyone’s terms other than my own. I am my own person, and nobody is going to change that.

Once again, I face the world ahead. The sunlight blinds me, the rays of it reflecting onto my face. It’ll take more than this to make me worried. I’m tough. If I went into the games, I would survive the first day at least. I’m not prepared to die yet. I am too young. I walk around the district, perhaps this is the last time I will ever face my home, my district, my everything. Maybe it would be the last time I faced my mother. No, my harmless mother. She’d never hurt anyone, not even to save her own life. Meanwhile, I’d fight for survival. I’d be strong, I’d be tough, I would fight and I would emerge champion. I am not weak, unlike some in other districts. I am not a failure. My mother told me I was tough and strong, I’d be raised as a fighter, born fighter, born victor.

And that is why now, I am taken out to the town square for the terror that is the reaping. I do not know whether tonight I shall be boarding the train on the way to imminent death or having a celebration back at home, to be spared another year. I will be spared. I will be spared. I repeat the words in my mind once again, hoping they’ll give an impact on what blasted name comes out. My fate is in the escort’s hands. I hope it isn’t mine. Please don’t be mine. I’m too young to die. I’m too young, too young, too young – it won’t be me. It won’t. It won’t be me. I am sure of it. But now we are all lined up to check in. My name is entered quite a few times there. A few will be in there with my name written in fancy handwritten text. Then the prick enters my finger. A blast of pain runs through but it’s all over within a second. And then my blood is placed on the paper and identified as me. My blood stains the clear white paper. I look down at it, disgusted, but then she tells me I can go.

I walk into my age group. You can hear a pin drop. There is a moment of silence before the crowd is buzzing again, with worried children, the escort chatting endlessly, the sound of fingers being pricked, desperate cries of the children. Little kids with their parents scattered around the outskirts, watching this horror go on. I am there, in the crowd, with clenched fists and a burning hatred for the Capitol. No, I will not be sent to die. Because they’re calling someone else’s name. Someone else will be going, and I am safe. But my brain thinks differently, and before I know it I’m running out into the path that leads to the stage. What are you doing? What are you doing? I don’t even know myself.

Before I know it, the words are spilling out. “I VOLUNTEER! I VOLUNTEER!” I’m crying, and my voice is shrill and desperate. I look like I’m crazy, but more importantly, I look strong. I’m standing tall in the crowd, signing my death certificate. “I volunteer as tribute for District 11. For my district.” Pride. That’s what I should feel, but instead I feel a numb feeling spreading through my bones. I’m shivering. I’m weak inside but strong on the outside. I wobble a little, almost falling over, but then I step onto stage. And I accept the fact that I am stupid, but I will not be weak. I don’t mind being crazy or stupid as long as I remain strong. I will need an alliance. I will need something important. And I can win this thing.

Why you chose them: Well first the athlete, because his being bullied. The big guy getting bullied by his skinny parents. I want to develope him more and like create a confident young man he can be.

And the Basket Case because I love weird. And that her corkiness might be fun to write.

How you'll portray them:The Athlete - Okay so he is affraid. A big robust guy afraid, I know what your thinking but he isn't afraid of anything but his parents. The sound of their voices would give him chills. But he doesn't want anyone to know, but the breakfast club. They're the only people he could trust. But outside of that circle he is very composed, like he shouldbalways stand tall to establish his supperiority or something. But he is very kind hearted, he would try to help anyone in need just ask nicely. Not the smartest like the brains but he tries. But there's something in his brain that's just not getting it. It's his dyslexia. That's why he can't do any good in academics. What he lacks in his studies, he more than makes up for it in his athletic career.

The Basket-case - She would.be really weird and funny. Well funny in a weird way. Like she would stick straws up her nose and pretend to act like the capitol esscort. And well she doesn't see herself as pretty so she dresses up in these weird outfits. Trying to make everyone notice her, not caring about what people will say.

Why you think they'll fit the part: Very athletic, always driven by his parents, they just want him to win. He's quiet when he needs to be, but I'msure he would've gotten chucked in the DC if anyone found out about his personal sword, especially a PK. Anyway, he might have also gotten chucked in for throwing a bit of a "tantrum" if anyone insulted his brother maybe he attacked a PK for it or something.
Plot ideas: Secrets about his girlfriend, he can't tell anyone but that's nothing new. It's hard dating a Moreno.
