Age: 16
Gender: Female
District/Area: Wanderer
Appearance:
Ae-Cha is shorter than most girls her age, her relatives nicknamed her "shortie" but she hates it when people make references to her height [or weight]. She is 5'ft and weighs about 109lbs. She has started to form strong muscles from climbing trees and running so often. But because she doesn't eat nearly as much as she used to back in district 8 she has lost a lot of weight. Even though district 8 is poor and her family doesn't have very much money, it was enough to at least give her a figure. She lost her figure quickly but she has muscle which makes her body look a little more fuller.Personality:
Her hair is matted and it has a rough texture, it is the color of caramel but it looks dull and almost washed out. On good days, if it is washed very well and combed you notice she has wavy hair. She has a Asian face, with a slender nose and a rich brown eye color. Her eyes look tired and the whites of her eyes are a reddish tint from lack of sleep. She has a square shaped face and softer features.
Ae-Cha has been on her own for quite a while so she is use to being alone and doesn't talk to very many people. She seems cold, and she has this fierce look in her eye that makes you think she isn't the kind of person you should trust. Ever since an unfortunate event that took place in her childhood, Ae-Cha felt she would never be able to trust anyone again. She is a very independent person and a tad sarcastic. She comes off as rude, and insensitive.History:
Although she comes off as a shallow, and an angry person she wasn't always like this. In the back of her mind she means well, and she is still as good and pure as she was growing up (although she would never admit it). She may have been unhappy in her childhood but she was still always kind to others. But it's like she is caught in the middle. A secret Ae-Cha has been keeping in after she ran away is holding her true-self down like a ball and chain.
Being a wanderer means you must be smart. You need to know how to get food, find shelter, and survive on your own. Ae-Cha can do all of this but because she hasn't stayed in one place for a long time and because she hasn't had that much practice, she isn't very smart when it comes to survival. With no specific place she is heading to she is just being the independent and stubborn girl she is and ignoring everyone who offers her assistance. From events that has happened in her life, she feels that she is now a different person and that no one should be trusted, she shuts everyone out unless she needs something. But deep inside her, she still cares although her heart has been hardened.
Ae-Cha despised the fact that she was born in the housed in and polluted district 8; it was as if she had to grow up quickly because once she had learned to walk her childhood soon turned into manual labor. It wasn't like she was in any higher place than the rest of the citizens in her district, she knew and understood that, but she felt so closed in in district 8 that she wanted out and secretly wished she could live some place else. It always seemed to be in the back of her mind that someday Ae-Cha would escape her district, leave her family, and find a new home. She hated what she was apart of, she hated what her parents had brought her into, and she hated what they'd become.Codeword: Odair
Her parents both met when training to become peacekeepers. They fell in love, got married, and had a baby girl, Ae-Cha. Although Ae-Cha always felt sad and disgusted in her poor district, she still felt somewhat safe having 2 peacekeepers as her parents. She often walked down to the town to visit her parents for a brief moment and if she was lucky her parents would be able to have time to say a few words. One afternoon, Ae-Cha walked down town during a Saturday to see what her parents wanted for supper that night but when she finally found her father she was so astonished by what she saw she almost collapsed. In the middle of the town square, her father was beating a boy who was probably around her age. The boy was kicking and screaming and Ae-Cha couldn't help but stare in horror. He looked directly at her when it was obvious she was the only one standing in the square, with her fathers back turned to her, and mouthed the words "help me". At the moment, she took off running in the other direction, straight to the woods.
She had no idea who her parents really were, which meant her life was a lie. That was the first time Ae-Cha ever saw a peacekeeper doing their job and that's what she wanted to escape from. She understood the risks she was taking if she was to run away, but district 8 was no longer her home and she was never coming back. The worst part was, she started to wonder if she was just as bad as her father was because she did nothing. Nothing for that boy, and for that she hated herself. The day she left, she was changing her identity and who she was. Goodbye, Ae-Cha.
