Sidney Hampsie - D5 - WIP

With wavy brown hair that falls over her shoulders and bright brown eyes that hide many secrets, Sidney is a natural beauty. She is fairly tall, reaching a height of five feet six inches, but her tendency to cower away from nearly everything drops her down to about five feet four inches. Sidney's skin is a creamy color, but it is tanner than the skin of most of her housemates because she is one of the few to venture outside.

Sidney's smile can light up a room, but it is not seen very often. Instead, her wide and fearful eyes normally dominate her face. Sidney's nails are short and ragged due to her habit of biting them when she is scared. She also has many scars dotting her arms and legs, most of which she can't remember getting. Sidney's cheeks are naturally rosy giving her the appearance that she is always blushing. She can normally be seen wearing a small, heart clip in her hair, a small accessory that helps calm her after a panic attack.

Sidney is literally afraid of everything. From fire to water to mice to birds, Sidney seems to find a new phobia each day. Despite all these phobias, she is also an extremely bubbly and curious girl. Sidney is one of the few members of her household to dare to venture outside. She desperately wants to make friends and let her curiosity lead her to new adventure, but around each corner she faces one of her fears. No matter how hard she tries, Sidney can never seem to overcome these fears and it often leads her to mop around the house, occasionally squealing at the sight of her fears.

Sidney is also very talkative. She can ramble on and on about nearly anything, although her usual topic is her wide range of phobias. Since one of her fears is a fear of strangers, Sidney is very cautious and closed off from strangers. Once she gets used to a person, however, she can become very dependent on them. She leans on the other members of her household so that she does not loose her vague grip on sanity.

While one of Sidney's fears is being around a crowd of too many people, her other fear is being left alone. She prefers to stay close to one or two other people because this gives her a sense of security. She is not used to taking care of herself or standing up for herself and can tend to be easily manipulated. This being said, if Sidney absolutely does not want to do something, then she will not do it. She can be very stubborn and persistent when she needs to be. One of Sidney's greatest fears is the Hunger Games. On the day of the reaping, she is a nervous wreck and must be practically dragged out of the house.

Being skittish and easily frightened has resulted in Sidney being very fast. She is also very observant since she is used to keeping her eyes open and ready to hide from the "danger" that lurks around her. Sidney hates being the center of attention because of her fear that she will embarrass herself and others will laugh at her. Because of her many phobias and inability to truly function, Sidney does not have a lot of confidence. She suffers from many emotional problems and must take medication so that she does not drop into depression. Without the comfort of her housemates, Sidney would completely loose her already weak grip on reality and sanity.
