June Ligers | District 6 ((WIP))

Looking at June, one could be forgiven for thinking she is much younger than her sixteen years. Her entire appearance gives off a youthful air. She stands only 5'2" and is a lean 98 lbs. Her hair color ranges from rich chesnut brown to warm honey through the year, depending on how much sun she gets. Lending to her young look, June tends to wear her hair up in two pigtails or just back in braids that fall just past her shoulder. Her bangs brush her face just above her large green eyes. Her slender nose and cheeks are sprinkled with light freckles, standing out on her pale pink skin. When her bright smile lights up her face, her nose and eyes crinkle up and a soft laugh escapes her throat.

With almost no curves to speak of, June could be called a late bloomer. Her clothes tend to hang off of her, looking to be a couple sizes too big. But for the most part, if the weather allows, she wears light dresses or loose pants. Her arms and legs are lean, skinny, and more often than not a little dirty. A light pale scar runs down the inside of June's leg from her knee to her ankle. When asked she says she can't remember where she got it.

June is the very definition of an optomist. She is a bright ray of sunshine even in the stormiest of times. Not only does she find a silve lining in every storm cloud, she can find the joy of dancing in the rain. There is very little that can bring her mood down, even despite her precarious living conditions. Her smile is omnipresent and infectious, brightening even the darkest of people around her.

Outgoing and friendly, June doesn't have a hard time making friends. Her bright personality and caring nature draws some people in, making them want to get to knwo this bubbly person better. As with any situation, June always sees the best in the people she meets. Of course, this can also backfire on her, even though it hasn't yet. Some people call her flighty or childish, but that rarely bothers her. Better to be youthful and happy than mature and grumpy.

Unfortunately, her most prominent trait is also her biggest flaw. Some people are put off or even annoyed by her constant optomism. By contrast, people around her can feel sadder because of her happiness. June tries to cheer those people up, but realizes that there are some people she just needs to leave alone. It does weigh her on her though that she can't get close to these people.
