When you first lay eyes on Luxe Charlene Lopez, you can immediately tell what type of person she is by how she conveys it with her appearance. This is shown by her the real smile she always has, especially when you need one when you're down.

Luxe has dyed her naturally brown, wavy long hair artificially the color of red-velvet. Many don't know what her real color is since she dyes it again when the roots show too much. Her eyes are brown, which can be argued as chestnut brown, almond-shaped eyes. Luxe's lips are pretty ordinary, nothing special, just simple full lips often kept unpainted. She is also seen petite and thin compared to others, 5'2 and only 94 pounds. Something special about her is that she has a beauty mark above her right breast. However, her two worst flaw are her dimples that everyone seems to love but is one of the things she hates most, but she has to live with it since every time she smiles they pop out. Another thing she hates most about her appearance is the small scar under her collarbone she got from her childhood. Luxe has always disliked it because of how much it was noticeable.

Luxe has the type of appearance that you can immediately tell what type for person she is conveyed by her smile. That type of person with a real smile on their face every time you see her and when you need one. Someone that's always down-to-earth (without being all hippie) and people can comfortable being around.

The times Luxe gets angry, well, that's a whole other story. When she does, she's the complete opposite of the person she usually is. Around her during her tantrum , its like the living hell just broke out. When this happens, Luxe says a lot of things she really doesn't mean it, that's just something people have to remember.

Another way she acts really depends on the way you see it. If you find her feisty with a strong-determination or if you find her like the person that is competitive and always wants to win. But the truth is that, she can act both ways, yes she is definitely determined but can also be competitive, mostly during the hunger games to survive.

Luxe was born from the extremely wealthy family of Jeremy Flynn Lopez and Lucinda Destiny Lopez. If you feel like you've heard Jeremy Flynn Lopez before, that's probably because he was also a winning tribute at only age 13. Her mother, on the other hand, at a young age, ever since she learned about the hunger games, she was a major fan of them ever since. However, Luxe wasn't the only child at home, she also has an older brother, Alexander, after her father's best friend from the games that came from District 9. Alexander and Luxe were pretty much best friends in their young years, they respected each other and enjoyed playing and joking around.

Life was great living in District 1, being the district of luxury and everything. But something later unfortunate happened in their family. Her mother had died of a sudden heart attack. The doctors had tried their best to save her, but it was just too late. Their family was devastated, however they still got over it after a few painful months.

At age 11, her father forced her to attend archery and agility classes. In the beginning, she wondered why but didn't resist. On the second day of both her classes, she asked her father why and what was the point. He answered with a chuckle, that it was for her own good, if she was ever chosen in the hunger games she would be ready and would be the one to survive.
