Autumn Copperwood, District 7

Appearance: She has strawberry blonde (Okay ginger) hair, with a spattering of freckles and deep brown eyes. She is also the proud owner of a scar that looks a little like a question mark on her left arm, where she fell out of a tree on her 13th birthday. She’s reasonably well muscled (that’s what comes from heavy duty tree-work all day) but cannot run very fast, as her asthma gets in the way. She is 5”11 with reasonably pale skin. She has thin eyebrows and her eyes crinkle when she laughs. She’s good at climbing trees but weighs 87lbs so can’t go right to the top, as the branches break.

Personality: She is quick to anger, and doesn’t always think things through, but when she does, she tries to be cold and logical. This doesn’t always work as she is a ‘heat-of-the-moment’ type of gal. She is fiercely loyal to those she loves, and is in general a likable person, though she can be shy around those who she feels are better than her. Despite being 16, she doesn’t really have any interest in men , and is proud of this as she is fiercely independent.

History: She has a Father (called Ash) and twin sisters (Named Indigo and Maple) her mother died giving birth to the twins ten years previously. Autumn doesn’t really remember her Mother (Called Alania) except for the occasional flash of blond hair, or the smell of pine needles and linen. She works in the forest with her father, assisting in tree felling for a meagre wage. As their work is physical, the get enough food to keep them fit, but shared between four it’s not nearly enough. They are healthy enough, but the twins are thinner than they should be, as is Autumn. She doesn’t dare take any of the wild food that grows or wanders in the lumber forests, as the Peacekeepers don’t approve, and she doesn’t want to do anything that may endanger her family.
