Claire Wistels District 4

Claire Wistels is a very skinny girl weighing only 130 pounds. She is also very tall with a height of 6 foot 1. She has slightly tanned skin that is very smooth and always fresh appearing except for her forehead where she struggles to stop acne break outs. She has sparkling white teeth like pearls that really bring out her electric blue eyes when she smiles. Her cheeks and arms are covered in a mass of freckles and she has a small mole under her right cheek bone.

She has naturally shiny and wavy long blonde hair that flows down her back stopping mid way down. She only has her right ear pierced and always wears a long flashy earing on the ear. Also she has slightly small hands and feet but slightly larger ears. Her eyes are quite large and vibrant due to their electric blue color and her nose is just ever so crooked tilting towards the right side at its tip. Her mouth however is constantly getting capped and bleeding and she also struggles from constantly biting her nails in nubs.

Claire is a very fun girl to be around once you get to know her because she is very shy to people at first. Also Claire is very cautious of who she wants to be friends with and always has trusting problems. Due to her problems with trusting most people never get to see her true friendly natured side. From this natured side comes Claire's absolute love for the wilderness and anything in it especially animals.

From her loving of plants and animals Claire is naturally caring for anything she likes or even loves. Due to this the only animal she will even bare to eat is fish. As mentioned early she is way more cautious than most other people not only when selecting friends but even with her loved ones. There however is still another hidden side to Claire Wistels.

This hidden side is her absolute love of knowledge and learning. Everyday Claire loves to get ready as fast as she can and race off to school so she can learn of all the new wonders in this world. As most would also think due to her personality so far she would be very scared of things such as the Hunger Games; that's not the case in fact actually she is quite brave. She isn't afraid to face anything even if it be a boy ten times her weight in a fist fight she is always willing to show her true inner strength. Last of all mixed from her caring and bravery she is very protective of those she does let close to her and if anyone dare threatens them she will whole-heartedly defend them with all her might. Even though she may be brave she does suffer from trying to control her habits and impulses such as biting her nails or not speaking out of term.

Claire has had a good life since she has been raised in the upper part of District 4 due to her father's successful fish transporting factory. There in their larger house Claire lives with six others. The first is her Father, Martin, he runs a very successful fish transporting company and has always loves her unconditionally since she was their first born and daddy's little girl. Next is her mother, Irene, she is always encouraging Claire and her siblings to dream big and to never give up and for that Claire always looks up to her as her role model. Following next is the second youngest, Preston, he is 12 years old and even though he loves Claire constantly loves to prank and mess with her; these two constantly fight but in the end Claire loves him completely. Second to last is the youngest and Claire's absolute world, Anna, she is 7 years old and is very imaginative and loves Claire unconditionally and that feeling is shared by Claire as well; there is literally nothing Claire wouldn't do for her. Now the final member of the family is Baxter a 3 year old bulldog that Claire found one day wondering alone starving by the district boundary and ever since she nursed him back to health they have physically been unable to separate. Next is a rougher part of Claire's history.

Claire has always been made fun of at school by others due to her love of learning. At one point when she was only 12 years old she almost volunteered for the Hunger Games to commit suicide. Ever since her parents discovered that they flipped and thought of what would happen to her if she got thrown into the games so they enrolled her at the district's training academy for the games. Claire hated every second of it but managed to but up with it until she was 15 years old then demanded to her parents she had learned enough to practice on her own and she wouldn't go anymore and they allowed her to stop training at the academy. Surely enough though she did train on her own she didn't mean it she just would always do it when she was upset. Her best and favorite weapons were the throwing knives and tridents; she would spend hours and hours just throwing them.

However, training at the academy wasn't all bad there she met her two best friends in the world. The first was Bradely Hawkens, she thought he may be a potential romance interest but that went away as they grew closer together as friends. Due to Bradely's love of spears he really helped her with learning how to throw her tridents. Her other friend was Danica Bakers she is three years older and a major role model and friend to Claire and she admits without Danica she doesn't think she would have lived this long. Moving away from friends Claire works as a jewelry designer at a shop in the district square due to her love of jewelry and nature Claire managed to work her way all the way up to manager and made the shop a major success.
