"none of that quality, at least not off the top of my head" he replied. "What about you? You must, after all you've been out here since you were like 5" he asked. I smiled. I did have a few more stories but I wasn't sure which one to tell him. "I do, I just don't know which one to tell you" I said. I know, I'll tell him the one about my first encounter with a fox, how it showed me which way to go when I was lost I thought. "Alright, I'll tell you about my first encounter with a fox' I began. "It was sometime in late autumn. I was looking for food with my mom and I wandered away from her to find some more food. I wasn't paying attention and before i knew it, I was completely lost. I tried to find my way back but I had no idea which way to go. I ended up spending the night on my own." I continued. "Early the next morning I started looking again but couldn't find my mom, thats when I saw it. A fox, its coat just beginning to take on its winter color. It approached me cautiously and seemed to sense I was in trouble. It yipped at me and padded forward, looking back at me every so often to see if I was following and so I followed it. It led me back to my mom and I was so happy to see her I cried. When I looked back to the fox, I remember thinking The fox just saved my life and smiling at the fox before it ran off." I finished. It had been a hard night that one night/ I remembered the night vividly. I turned to Josh and smiled before yawning. "wow, I didn't realize I was tired." I said, rubbing my eyes. The moon was almost above the trees, telling me it was maybe almost midnight. "Perhaps we should camp for the night" I suggested.[/size]
