Reliving the past (open)

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping through the sunny morning. Even though it was so beautiful outside I had a terrible nightmare. I had the nightmare that I had every night since I was 5 or was it 6,I don't know anymore it was defiantly a long time ago. I'm still laying in bed,while the birds are still chirping happily away. The reaping is coming soon,another reason i'm so tired I can't stop thinking that I might get reaped and never find out who my father is. My mom tries to calm me down everyday that i'm only 12 my name is only one time in that big bowl of misery.
I start to get out of bed.I look at my clock 11:00. I got up pretty late,oh well it's the weekend so I have time. I slowly get dressed not forgetting my blue backpack that I can never seem to take of. I check if all my supplies are still there. They are,I guess it doesn't make sense to think that somebody would sneak in my house in the middle of the night and steal my flashlight,but I do and I have very good reasons to think so.
I make my way down stairs where my mom and my step dad are supposed to be,but there not. That's odd I think,Then I here a scream coming from downstairs. I rush up the stairs to see my mother bleeding. " whats wrong?" I ask,but she says nothing and tells me to go shopping. Why would she do that? I ask my self she knows perfectly well that I hate shopping. The winter coldness presses through the holes in my jeans. I can't remember how
I got them all,but probably through digging in the dirt at school.
As I walk closer to the city,I turn around and walked to the barbed fence keeping us all prisoners inside the district. As I stand in front of the fence I ask myself do I really want to cross the fence,that I did 2 years ago? Did I want to go into the hell I went in before? It was to late I started to feel the dizziness come around and before I knew it everything was black.
I entered the realm of the past. I still new I was laying at the edge of the district,but I knew I was going to relive the night of one of my injuries.
I was running through the woods thinking of how I wanted to go home so badly. I was surrounded by bandits. Then I heard a voice that never came in before. I should know I relived this thousand times before. I was suddenly jolted back to life a person was standing over me. " thanks" I say and start walking away. The person that brought me back to reality said" Could you at least tell me your name?"
