Age: 12

District: District 6
Appearance:
In his dreams, Bridle would have long wavy hair that danced in the wind. He would be tall, strong, and most defiantly smart. Dreams don't always come true. He is the shortest, the weakest, and most certainly the dumbest kid in his class. His light brown hair cut super short because his mom doesn't like it when it grows out. To only worsen it, his voice is high pitched, almost a little bird like.Personality:
His eyes shine vibrant blue and get a greenish tint in the light. They look big because of his rather small features. His nose is tiny and are on the pointy side. His smile, though passionate, can't stretch that far along his face. His hands are thin, bony, and always cold. His body is thin and bony as well, but not so much that it looks scary. Even his ears are smaller than the usual. It makes him feel under the radar and insignificant.
The only thing big on his face is his forehead. It's mostly just empty space that his tiny features couldn't take up. His skin is very pale. He always ends up looking sickly. His teeth are a bit crooked, but his family can't quite afford to fix them. He wears long sleeves most of the time. He certainly would never have shorts on. Even if he was sweating to death, he would do almost anything to cover his scars.
At first, Bridle seems like a social butterfly. He always has a crowd of people around him to talk to. He never leaves his buddies sides and is loyal to them no matter what. He seems just nice enough so that he wouldn't do whatever people say, but not mean enough to be a jerk. Though small, he tends to have a grin on his face.History:
At second glance, most people figure out why he is not that popular. He can be a bit of a pest. Always nosing his way into the middle of conversations. If you invite him over he will never leave your side. Even when you ask him to go away. He downright craves attention from anyone and everyone. He'll sometimes just make funny sounds or movements to get someone to look at him.
Not at the third or the forth, but maybe at the fifth or sixth time meeting Brindle, you will start to feel sorry for him. You can almost see the pain in his eyes, and bruises on his back. No matter how hard he tries, he can't get anyone's approval. He's not exactly that smart either. He's had to stay back twice and still fails at school. Nobody notices though. He ends up looking about the same age as his classmates. Even a little younger. His parents think he might have some mental disorder that is causing the bad grades, but they are too embarrassed of him to ever get him diagnosed. That or they're just afraid that he is perfectly healthy. That they're son just doesn't care.
Brindle was supposed to have a little sister. A brother as well. He was supposed to live in a big house and have a big dog with a bridle colored coat to match his name. He was supposed to sing songs with his mother andCodeword:odairplay sportsstudy with his father. Brindle would have been the oldest, if his parents had succeeded in creating the family they talked about for years.
It all started when they bought the big house and had the first child. They didn't quite understand until he came how their dream was flaws. In resent months both parents had delved even deeper into their jobs. The father, being a teacher spent most of his time at home making lesson plans and correcting papers. The mother and made a scientific breakthrough in her pregnant months. They decided at once to sell the house and only have the one child. The dog was a bust too. The apartment they moved into had a strict no pets policy.
When he was younger he grew up okay, unaware his parent's dreams had been crushed. At first he seemed like a normal kid. That was until his grades dropped. It was rare for anyone in the district to get anything below a perfect score, so when Bridle came home from his first day of school with his first failed test, you can tell what the reaction might have been. At first his dad studied with him day and night. Nothing was working. His new strategy became whenever Brindle failed, he would get hurt. It worked, a little
Now he has skipped two grades and still struggles. Through many beatings from his father, harsh talks with his mother, and torcher from his classmates, he could never pull through. The only thing he had left was to look up to others. To admire how smart, tall, or strong they were. All he had left was to wish his parents dream had come true. To wish that his own silly dream had come true.
Summary (for those too lazy to read)
[/size] - light brown hair and blue eyes, teeny tiny little face, could pass off for a 9 year old
- talkative, a pest, not that bright in the noggin
- only child, dad beats him up for not being bright in the noggin, a lot of stuff about dreams
