Adelbert Brumfield, District 6

Adelbert is a tall boy of average weight, at about 5'11 with an average amount of muscle mass. He has jet black hair, which he prefers slicked back, with not a hair out of place. He is rather pale, and is near-sited, making him need glasses. The only bright colours Adelbert ever has are from his eyes, which are a bright shade of green. He gives off a very high class aura.

His clothes aren't super fancy, but he refuses to wear hand-me-downs. He usually wears just a t-shirt with jeans. On occassions, though, he may wear a collared shirt with a tie. On SPECIAL occassions, like the reaping, he can be found in his fanciest clothes; a black blazer, his collared shirt, a vest, and an orange cravat, the cravat being his most colorful piece of clothing. His expression is generally apathetic, and he walks with a high-class gait. He prefers keeping his head up, and not looking at those he consideres lowlives.

At first glance, everyone would believe Adelbert to be some high class snob, and they aren't far from the truth. Adelbert is an OCD atelophobe, something that others don't generally know about him. He refuses to associate with lowlives, and since he uses the term 'lowlife' quite loosely, he isn't a very social person. He prefers spending his days studying and exercising, in his attempts to be perfect. Because of his loose use of 'lowlife', he is easy to dislike, and makes enemies easily.

What he doesn't tend to show others is that he's a very troubled teen. His father died, cursing Adelbert on his death bed, which is the cause of Del's atelophobia. It isn't uncommon seeing this boy crying himself to sleep based on how imperfect the day was. He hopes to work at the Institute of Psychology, wanting to surpass his father. He is also famous for shouting a lot about perfection, and bursting into tears when he doesn't get 100% on tests.

People like to call him selfish. He is usually very indifferent to events not involving him, including the Hunger Games. He does, however, help people with problems when they have an obvious one, as it's part of his code. He never finds anything he does perfect, believing it to not be exactly the way he imagined it. This problem is easily solved by having someone else calling it perfect though. In summary, he's an emotionally unstable high class teenager with OCD.

Adelbert lives in, and grew up in the high class of District 6. His mother is a dean at the college, and his father worked at the Institute of Psychology. Adelbert use to be a normal, sociable and lovable child, until he was 8. He was walking with his father to buy food, when a man appeared from an alley and robbed them. Because his father refused to give the robber any money, the robber stabbed his father, and ran off. His father then began cursing at Adelbert, calling him 'imperfect' and 'lowlife' for not helping him.

After that event, Adelbert became how he is. He created what he calls the 'Code of True Perfection', made to be truly perfect, and to be a better man than his dad. He became obsessed with following it, much to the annoyance of his peers. He now spends his days following his schedule to the dot, with three basic events; study, exercise, and sleep. He is never involved very much with events outside of his life, not even caring much about the annual Hunger Games.

Adelbert's snobbish appearance and unstable emotions make him an easy target. Over his years of school, people often tease him, or remind of his imperfection. Obviously, his imperfection works much better than them teasing him, which usually only annoys him. Even his mother is known to bully him at times, generally for being an over-expecting parent. He's well known by the peacekeepers as well, often reporting any illegal activities he's seen, as it's also part of his code.

5'11 is above average height for a 17 year old, right? And am I allowed to make his mother the college's dean?
