Adan Charles Atherton -- District 7 [FINISHED]

Adan Charles Atherton is a 16-year-old boy from the lumber district, District 7. He is 5"9 feet tall. Adan has fair skin because he enjoys carving under the sun. Adan is also muscular due to his excessive carrying of heavy lumber. Adan also has broad shoulders because he always had enough to eat after a day of hard work from all the cutting and carrying of wood.

Adan has dark brown hair that is brown as dark chocolate. He also has deep blue eyes that are as blue as the ocean. Although people may say he has the perfect hair, he finds it totally annoying that his hair tends to stand up. That would explain why he always brings some water with him to keep his hair flat. Adan also has a scar on his right shoulder because he once got hit by a knife when he was little.

Adan is passionate about carving. He carves different kinds of sculptures and paints them. He is best known for his sculpture called the "red fisherman". It is a sculpture that Adan made, it had a fisherman wearing all red carrying a fishing pole on one hand and a fish on the other. Adan is well known as an artist in his district. People tend to see him at the back of his house make different kinds of wooden statues and figures and paint them.

Adan is a very patient boy. He doesn't mind waiting long and he even tends to let people behind him walk ahead when he's around the streets. Adan is also humorous. He loves making jokes and listening to other people's jokes. He is a very good listener.

Adan is a very lovable boy so it is no surprise that many girls would be drawn to him but he never showed any interest in girls yet. Even with all this, Adan also has a bad side. He is quite stubborn when it comes to people telling him what to do. He hates being told what to do and prefers to do things his way, but if it is for the good of others... he would resist the urge of fighting for what he wants..

Adan has a life in between normal and complicated. His mother is a local from District 7 who used to chop wood with his grandfather but has now stopped. His father was originally from the grain processing district, District 9. He only found out about this when he was 11 years old. Ever since that day, he has always wanted to go to District 9.

Adan has a wound on his right shoulder because of a tragic accident when he was 12 years old. He and a friend of his were both playing with knives which they found under a tree. His friend wanted to play darts using the knives but Adan immediately contradicted to this. But even if Adan didn't agree, his friend kept insisting and saying that they'll both be fine, so Adan finally agreed. They both treated the knives like darts because they had nothing else better to do.

After all the playing, his friend had a very bad idea. He asked Adan to stand in front of a tree then he placed an apple on Adan's head. He threw the knife but hit Adan's right shoulder instead of the people. Adan was bleeding so hard and asked his friend to call for help but his friend just left him there. Feeling hopeless, Adan closed his eyes and believed that he was dead.

The next day Adan woke up in his house and beside him was his mother crying. When his mother realized that her son was alive, she told him what happened. A man found him unconscious on the ground so he immediately called for help. Adan was lucky to survive.

Adan had a very long past but in a way, he was glad that it was all done. Now, he longs for the day that his "sentence" or reaping in the Hunger Games would be over. He was just waiting for 2 more years for it to happen. He has always wanted to be free. He wanted to fulfill his dream of being an artist in his life.
