Blaze Nguyen - District 7 (finished)

Blaze's height is easily the most distinguishable trait she has. She stands around 4'11, making her the shortest girl in her class at school, especially compared to a lot of the taller girls that reside in Seven. Although she is short, she is not necessarily petite. However, she is not big either. She is not very athletic, and is rather clumsy.

She has short, shoulder length brown hair. Apart from her height, another distinguishable feature is the scar on her left cheek which she earned from falling out of a tree in her younger years. She does her best to cover it up, although often it is to no avail. She looks much older than she is despite her height. The prominence of her facial features falsely suggest that she is much older than she really is.

She uses her appearance as an "attention-seeker". Although she isn't particularly attractive, she isn't ugly at all. She seeks a lot of attention from boys, a lot of that due to her father not being around. Although it's not necessarily a bad thing, it's been known to get her in a bind more than a few times.

Blaze is your typical wild child. She lives with reckless abandon, always having fun and not caring for the consequences. She follows the "You Only Live Once" motto, and although she is somewhat irresponsible, she is always happy. It's hard to bring her carefree spirit down. She is proud to say that she is truly a carefree spirit.

Her most admirable quality is her honesty. She never hides facts, especially when she feels like something needs to be said. She really doesn't care if she hurts anyone's feelings in doing so, either. Of course, she wants to be liked. But she doesn't see the necessity in changing herself to meet others qualifications.

She can get quite dangerous, however. Sticking true to her name, she is a pyromaniac, loving to light fires to all kinds of things, especially the abundance of timber in her home of District Seven. She has almost burnt her house down several times. However, she can't help that she gets bored.. Can't a girl have a little fun, after all?

Blaze's history is very spotty. Her father left her and her mother when she was an infant, and her mother has an extremely hard time staying in a job, leaving them to be one of the poorest families in Seven. Being poor led to her having an extremely hard time socially in the earlier part of her school years. For a long time she only had one or two friends. However, once she began to grow up a little, her peers began to see her warm personality and she began to become a little more popular.

Although she has never really excelled in school, she is a very good writer. She spends a lot of her spare time in her room writing stories. She's always had a fantastic imagination, allowing her to channel her emotions into her writing. It's her way to escape any hardships she may be having. A lot of her writing is centered around the Games.

The Games for her have always been an awesome form of entertainment. Although she would never want to participate, she has always loved to watch and cheer on District Seven. Although Seven isn't a historically strong district, she still cheers them on almost religiously. However, she is scared of them. No matter how much she is fascinated by them, she has always tried to avoid the Reaping at all costs.
