Ryan Swolier District 3

Ryan comes from a fairly wealthy part of District 3, but you could never tell by looking at him. He is short, around 5 feet tall, and tan as the dirt on the ground. He looks about normal weight for a 14 year old, but when weighed, he can't tip the scale at 90 pounds.

He never cares about what all of the "cool" kids wear at school, and what the new thing is. He always combs his short, straight brown hair in the same way every day, and keeps his clothes a simple T-shirt and shorts.

Ryan is known at school as the kid who knows, and is liked by everybody. He tries really hard to be everyone's friend, never knowing when he might need them. Because he stays with the same look, people usually never try to persuade him in one direction, for when he has his mind set on something, he's never changing it.

On the outside, he seems like a cool kid, but on the inside, he lives in a world of judgement and fear. He always worries about all of the little things that could happen to him if people were mean to him. This is his real motivation for being nice to everyone.

Once you become Ryan's friend, he always will put your needs before his. Anything he can do about a situation will be done, and if one of his friends gets hurt, he feels guilt about what he could've done and never forgives himself, even if its just a trip over a rock.

Born into a wealthy, wellfed family, Ryan seemed to have his fate set out ahead of him, as a programmer for many of the televisions across Panem, as his father was. He just wanted to be a teacher. He loved learning,and helping others has always been his motivation in life.

When Ryan was very young, his 18 year old sister was sent to the Games, only to be killed the third day. The knowledge of this has haunted him and scared him at every reaping him and his 16 year old brother have been to.

He dreams of putting an end to the Games, avenging all of the dead. He is determined to do anything and everything in his power to humiliate the Capitol, even if the price is death.
