Ceira, District 8

Ceira has fair skin and always blushed cheeks. She has thick, golden blonde hair that reach down to the small of her back. Her hair must be the one thing she likes most about herself, although she does not admit it when people compliment on it. Her blue-green eyes are wide and always rimmed with black eyeliner, and if she's lucky - some mascara. Her nose is a bit large, but not outstanding. Her teeth are nearly perfect on a row, but for two of her corner teeth that stands a little out. Her lips are neither thin nor plump, but the thing in between, and has a natural light plum-colour.

She has quite broad shoulders and hips, though feminine and elegant. She's of average height, and quite skinny, but not anorectic-looking. Her boobs are quite small, but they're definitely there, although she would wish for bigger if she could. Her ribs are unnaturally shaped and bulge out on both sides, but mostly at the left - luckily not so much that it shows through clothes. Her legs are long and slim, but muscular enough to carry her quite fast, and pretty far.

Ceira is kind and open to everybody she meet, and try to treat all people with respect and warmness as long as they do not prove themselves to deserve otherwise. She is smart and has a sharp tongue - always ready with a comeback if someone acts bad against her or her family. She is very loyal to people, and holds her promises. If she lie about something, it is only a lie used to cover up something that looks worse than it is, or for helping someone.

She loves and trusts people way too easily - which is both a strength and weakness for her. That might be the reason why she is scarred both in heart and mind. Sometimes she can be just sad and depressed, when bad memories of her past haunt her down, but most often she is a happy and cheerful girl. She has much responsibility looking after her siblings, and that is something that she does not always like, though she loves and cares much for them.

Ceira is somewhat a perfectionist in as many aspects of her life that she can control. She is not happy with her work either it’s sewing a dress for her mom’s shop, or hunting to get fur and food, if it was not perfectly done. She likes best to do things herself than watching others do it, even if it means hard work and no benefits from it.

Ceira lives with in a small cottage with her whole famiy. Her mom Sallyn uses the largest room of the cottage as her shop, where she sells fabrics and clothes she sew with help from her daughters. Her father, Duncan, provides the store with fabrics through his job as a field worker and hunting activities. Ceira helps both her parents on a daily basis after school. Her twin brother Cedric is seldom home, because he is trainee at the industrial farm. The two younger sisters Ainé at thirteen and May at ten, spends their days at school and with either Ceira or their mom.

The Dawton family have through the years of course had tough times, but are at the moment doing quite well. Despite that the family is not amongst the poorer in district 8, they do not bathe in luxury. They take each day as it comes, and bless every meal and warm hour – they know that not everybody in their district has the same life quality as them. Sallyns shop runs okay business, being cheap enough for the poor in the district, and good enough for some of the wealthier. Duncans hunting provides most of the meat and fur necessary.

At school Ceira is looked at as strange, and it’s always been that way. Fortunately, most people treat her nice enough anyway. She has one best friend named Dwayne, who also is marked as weird, so she manages her days with not feeling like too much of an outsider. She is constantly seeking new people, and hopes to get more friends and perhaps some day soon a boyfriend or girlfriend. (She is not yet sure of her sexual orientation)
