Jason Turpronim District 7

Jason is a little taller than others of his age. He has long, straight, black hair and has one blue eye and one green eye. He is skinny, but not extremely skinny. He has cuts all over his arms from working. He has never worn shoes in his life. He also has four freckles on his face.
Jason prefers to wear shorts when it is cold and jeans when it is hot, which most people consider unusual. His skin color is light and white. He is not very muscular, but his legs appear to be very strong. Jason is a rather slow runner, but he can jump high, swim quickly, and dodge quickly. Jason feels that he looks ugly, but people often tell him he is handsome. He has a small permanent cut on his arm, but besides that he doesn't appear to be permanently marked or beaten. He has very little body hair (besides the hair on his head). He was overweight by seven pounds when he was ten, but he hasn't lost or gain a pound since then, so at his age he is considered the right weight.

Jason is a kind hearted somewhat-shy person. He hates to kill anything, and therefore hates the idea of The Hunger Games. He can't even kill a fly. Although Jason hates to kill animals, he is not a vegetarian, and he is okay with eating animals. Jason is very good at starting traps and using an axe and knife, but he fails at using any other weapons. He knows all about trees, and can climb them very quickly.
He hates the Capitol, but he never mentions that. In the games it would be very easy for him to make allies, but not to end them. He is friendly, but always depressed. Jason is very funny, but most of his jokes are only funny to his friends, or involve swearing. Jason is not very athletic, but he likes almost all sports (he just doesn't love any sports).
He feels as if he is neglected by his family most of the time. Jason is a very creative writer, and loves to spend his time writing. He is very smart, but in a limited way. He is excellent at Literature and Math, but he doesn't do well in all the other subjects. It is very easy for him to trust other people, which can be good and can be bad.

Jason has two younger sisters named Lisa and Benetha, and a twin brother who is mentally ill named Tom. His parents are always working, so he rarely sees them, leaving him in charge of the family. He has a grandmother (Jennifer) with no legs, who won The Hunger Games many years back without killing anyone.
He has only two friends, and everyone else bullies him because he can barely kill a thing. Sometimes he secretly skips school to help his parents work, but he normally gets caught. His grandfather, who was made an avox and taken away after he was caught poaching, which is one of the many reasons he hates the Capital, taught him how to cut trees when he was four(which also included teaching him how to use an axe) and his Grandfather also told him how to use traps (which Jason found very pointless, as he felt as if he had no reason to trap anything), so he became very experienced with trees and axes, and a little experienced with trapping. He had a friend two years before who was taken to the Hunger Games, and was killed on the first day.
Jason wants to start a rebellion against the Capitol, but he knows his would never succeed. His father speaks very little but is very intelligent. His mother speaks a lot and is funny, but she isn't very bright. Lisa is seven years old and Benetha is three years old. Tim did not get mentally ill until he turned ten, and his illness saddens Jason every day. Jason finds free time to write after he has done all his chores, bought food for the family, and went to school. He prefers writing fiction to non-fiction because he thinks writing about anyones lives would be to depressing, because all the people around him normally seem sad. Jason only used his trapping skills twice, and feels as if he doesn't need to because he refuses to kill animals and people unless he HAS to. He is okay with injuring (and extremely injuring) people and animals if he must, but Jason refuses to kill ANYTHING unless he must.
