Sophie Kloud ~ Avox [completed]

Sophie has long, light brown hair that reaches to her elbows when she relaxes. Her hair begins as sharp waves, but towards the tips it waves out strighter. She has hazel-brown eyes, and long lashes. She has thin eybrows, and no freckles. Her lips are smooth and red, but already they are begining to harden.

Sophie is of average height for her age, but she's skinny as can be. She is originaly from District 6, but even with her intelligence, she was too stubborn to pick anything up. She can count her ribs, and sometimes even does it out of boredom. She has scrawny legs, and is not a good runner.

Sophie is blind in her right eye, but it's hard to notice. She was born with it, so it looks like any other plain ol' eye. The only thing that gives it away big time is her poor balance, she trips on her own feet sometimes. Literally.

Sophie isn't growing any 'girl' 'parts' yet, she's completely flat-chested. Even with that, she still doesn't seem any younger. She doesn't look older no younger, everyone thinks she is 12. Which she is.

Sophie looks so sweet and quiet from the outside, but she's a boiling pot of rage on the inside. Even with this, let us start from the begining.

Sophie was always an anger-driven little girl. It was just a small temper when she was younger, but when she turned 6 that changed. After her cousin's friend died in The Hunger Games, she became a terror child. To some she was a sweet girl with only a small problem with anger, like to her teachers. But then, to some, such as anyone with capitol-granted authority, she was terrible. Then, to strangers, she was a bit in between.

Sophie has plenty of good qualities though. She can be sweet, and playful. It just doesn't show very much. Sophie has a kind heart, but her kindness it only towards the suffering. She pays no mind to rich folk, or, as said before, capitol-appointed authorities.

Sophie adores cats, and used to own two. Sugar and Spice. She also has a loving for books. She didn't have much time to read before, but somehow or another she managed to read enough for her imagination to grow big as a mountain. She loves pretending. One day she'll be queen of the fairies, and the next, she's Pinnochio's sister.

Sophie has a severe loathing of the capitol in her heart. Anything on the topic of 'capitol' 'president' or 'capitolites' sets her in anger motion. She'll rant on for hours if you let her. Her mother used to get very worried about all of her ranting, and her worrying was correct, as Sophie became and avox for it.

Some might say Sophie is nothing at all like her quiet, kind mother, but she does have a few of her mother's qualities. Her kindness is just hidden by her father's ambitions. Sophie mostly takes after her father, who used to rant about the capitol when she was around. Sophie listened to everything her dad said, soaked it up, and now repeats it. She knows what she's talking about.

Sophie was born with a blind eye, and it wasn't known for a while. Being it looked so normal, people just assumed she had bad balance because she was so young. Then, when she was playing in puddles with her little friends, they noticed how she tripped more than them. They gave her a test and realized her right eye was blind.

Sophie was fine with it, she liked being different. She also liked sitting in her dad's lap, listening to him talk about the terrible capitol. She thought they were just fairytale stories, and began pretending to be a capitolite. When her mother found out she was terribly angry at Sophie's dad. Her dad stopped ranting around Sophie, but Sophie still remembered.

At age 9, she was talking to some of her friends, and their older siblings. They somehow got onto the discussion of the capitol, and Sophie went wild. She told them everything, and they all just stared at her. They got supremely serious with telling her not to do that, and she was angry. She wanted them to know. So she left her friends and became a rebel.

She wasn't an active rebel like you'd think, no, she just ranted and picked on peacekeepers. She never thought she'd get caught. Then one day, about two days after she turned 12, she was caught telling off president Snow. They grabbed her and shoved her into a mysterious area. She yelled and screamed for them to unlock the doors, but they just ignored her. Then, someone came in to get her. He was there to let her out, but she didn't know that.

She ran at him and kicked him in the shins, then hit him in the head with a fold-up chair that was in the room. She then ran into the hallway and right into a peacekeeper. That had been her last chance. They took her away and made her an avox.

Sophie is still has the burning rage inside her, and she often lashes out. She is thought to be dangerous, so she is usually locked up. The only time she isn't mad is when she gets to go for a walk. Then she isn't surrounded by hate. They are eagerly looking for soeone to take her off their hands. She hopes that one day, the capitol will fall and she'll be allowed to teach them a lesson.
