Can't Get There From Here[District 12][Open]

Long has District 12 represented the poorest of the poor. Despite the fact that coal is a resource that once provided great wealth, the Capitol is the only place that uses it for wealth. The people live in conditions no human should have to live in, a life of suffering and wondering who among them will succumb to the elements. Sometimes families are driven apart due to this, children cast out because their parents can no longer afford them or because they just don't fit it. While this is a minority within the district they do exist, a level of poverty even lower than dirt itself. These children always manage to find eachother and form into a disjointed family. They look out for eachother so to speak, while they may not always agree they care about survival. The group involved in this plot has called themselves "The Tribe", referring to themselves with nacknames that they give eachother. Each nickname is a representation of who they are and how they act.



The Characters

Jesse aka Maybe[CAMEO][FC idea-Amalie Kardyb]- A sixteen year old girl who was abused by her alcoholic mother. She attempted to make due with the life she had but when her mother took a hot piece of iron to her back, leaving a permanent burn, she decided that it was time to leave. The streets of D12 seemed better than a home life. Out of all the kids she is one of the more pure, keeping away from the temptations around her. She is in love with Rainbow because Rainbow is the only one who really understands her. They are frequently sharing sleeping spaces with eachother. Will drink when despair takes hold. Her blonde/light brown hair falls past her shoulders, and her eyes always have the appearance of being lost in thought. Her style is never just focused on one look, rather it's based purely on what she finds to wear.



Alexander Mittleson aka Country Club[open][FC idea-Edward Honaker]- A 22 yr old young man who acts as the "elder" of the group. A chronic alcoholic and frequently being taken in by the Peacekeepers. Also a manic depressent that finds solice in the drink. Frequently wanders around in a state that the others call "The Heaven State" because he will glance up at the sky wondering if their is anything up there. Known for raising his voice to the other kids, and was only controlled by his best friend OG. Not very easy to get along with, he is very moody and is known to hold grudges. Doesn't have any qualms with using his fists to settle arguements. A scruffy bit of hair adorns his face because he never takes the time to clean himself up. His style is rather sloppy, and yet at the same time sophisticated for a street bum.



Jason aka OG[open][FC idea-Eros Buzza]-Also 22yrs old and an alcoholic. He and Country Club are best friends being the eldest of the group. Whenever the two of them have any money they will immediately spend it on drink. A thief of petty little items that no one will miss he calls them his treasures. More often than not they are just garbage though. Has a cough from a disease that has long been left untamed. When it gets really bad he is known to fall to his knees and cough out blood. Very sickly, if there is a disease going around the district he will get it. To stubborn to admit when he is wrong he will argue a point until the person either gives up the arguement or he actually has some "proof". Sense of style is a little odd, more often than not he will just wear Country Club's clothes because he feels they are "broken in".



Angel Perez aka 2Moro[open][FC idea-Ashley Joncas]- A 15 yr old girl who is the "punk" of the group. She is the life and soul of the group so to speak. Diagnosed with HIV she get prescriptions along with Rainbow, or when prescriptions aren't available drugs. Keeping them on their toes and getting them into places. Though her "family" often wonders how she manages it. Her "payment" for these places to sleep are the selling of her own body to be used and owned...a prostitute. Her style is dark and foreboding alot of leather and piercings, reminiscent to a goth. Clothes are very form fitting to show of her figure. Smokes and drinks alot.



Samuel aka Jewel[open][FC idea-Florentin Glemarec]- A sixteen yr old boy who was spurned by his family because he was caught dressing up as a girl at school. They didn't understand nor want to understand him, and they threw him out to fend for himself. Also relies on prostitution as a method of keeping himself afloat. He is the partner in crime of 2Moro, they are the dark members of the "family". Both love the style of the goth, and they are often found aiding eachother as they apply their makeup. Continues to dress as a girl, but will "take on the roll of the boy" as he calls it, when he needs to. He is like a chameleon, so many different sides to his personality. At times he can seem rather unstable mentally, but it's a facade that he puts on to fool the "family" and the people around him. His style speaks for itself, be they boy clothes or girl clothes he can "pull off anything" as he puts it.



Mary Ellen Goulding aka Rainbow[Axel][FC idea-Kelsey F.]- A sixteen yr old girl who was daughter to a mother who drank and loved drugs. So much so infact that Rainbow was sold TWICE to get the money to feed her addiction. Unable to live with it anymore Rainbow ran away. She followed in her mothers footsteps becoming addicted to drink and drugs. She took on the name Rainbow because she often went into the ecstacy of drugs. Diagnosed with OCD and depression she needs to take medication to keep herself alive. Wears two medical bracelets on her wrists, and has resorted to cutting for solace. Medication costs money, and she gets this by selling herself and drugs. Loves Maybe dearly and would do anything for her, secretly wishes to be together with Maybe.



Samantha aka Tears[open][FC idea-so far unknown]- the newest and youngest member of the group at twelve years old. She ran away from home after her step father began to sexually abuse her. She is known as Maybe's shadow always followiing her around and trying to be like her. Sometimes her innocence gets in the way of some of the things that the tribe does, but for the most part she is on board with everything. She's the innocent face that is used to leach off of those that feel bad for her. When all else fails they turn to her to help them get money. They will give her a sign to hold asking for drugs, money, or food. When people ask why she wants drugs she is instructed to tell them "would you prefer I lied about what I would use the money for?". Her blonde hair is hangs well past her shoulders and she keeps it clean in comparison to everyone elses. Tends to wear sweatshirts that are to large for her and tights that show great amounts of use.



Jameson Pierce aka Maggot[Pika][FC idea-up to Pika]- A sixteen year old boy who is the brains and glue of the group. Along with Jewel he is the only one was semi educated. Everyone but him knows that he is what holds them all together. All of their bigger plans have been developed by him. He picks out the places to stay when 2Moro can't find a place for them. Wears his hair in dreadlocks or corn rows always careful to keep the hair out of his eyes. Brutally honest he unafraid to tell anyone anything no matter how much it might hurt them. Not that he thinks they care, but because it's just how he is. A strategic mind to be sure, cold and calculating he will not shy away from killing people to get enough to survive. Pairs up with Rainbow to collect and sell drugs when they find them.

Okay so yeah, this is my first plot ever, here's to hoping it goes well. This is NOT a first come first served plot, whoever Pika and I think captures the essence of the charries the best will be given the character. If we don't chose you please don't be offended or anything because it's really hard to choose. If this plot gets anywhere Pika and I have a plan that will make things more interesting in the future. For now though it's all about how the group works to survive as a disjointed family. Thanks for taking a look.
