Jake Highborn District 7

Jake is Tall(5'8), muscular and firm(From carrying logs and swinging his hatchet all day). He is slightly bigger then a normal boy his age. He has brown short hair. He has a slightly curved scar from his bottom lip to his chin. He always has a smile for trouble.

Jake always wears a green jacket with a wight shirt and blue jeans. His hatchet is attached at his faded black belt. He wears worn down brown boots.

Jake has a temper, like most of his family. He wants to be in the hunger games. But he refuses because his family needs him to work. He thinks, that if he wins the games he will be set for life. He doesn't care for blood or death.

Jake hates water. Although, he can and will swim if he needs to, he would rather not. He loves fire on the other hand. He even will stay up cutting extra wood just so he can burn it. He has become exceptionally good at starting fires. He is also fast to judge people. If he thinks they're not trustworthy, he may shove them off elsewhere.

Jake takes his life seriously most of the time. The times he does loosen up are when he is at a camp fire or with friends. He looks at his surroundings and studies them often. He got this from cutting trees and were it was going to fall.

Jakes family has five kids, including him-self. He is the oldest child. His mother works taking care of the younger kids. Jake and his father work, cutting trees all day. They hardly make enough with Jakes name entered extra times.

Jake's childhood was dramatic. He lost an older sister when he was 4 in the games. She was 13 when she left and never came back. He watched her die on the TV. His mom had a mental brake down, and his dad was very angry for a while. Things got rough for a while.

Jake learned a lot from his mother and father. What was ok to eat and what wasn't ok. He also watched and payed attention to the hunger games. Wanting to be there himself. He remembers some of the things they ate and didn't. He also looked at what killed them after they ate it. He learned how to survive in the wilderness from this. Although, he has never had experience.

Jake got his scar from a axe at age 9. He was messing around with his fathers hatchet. When he accidentally swung it to high he ended up cutting his lip and chin open.
