Choking on broccoli at a fancy smancy dinner party

Tap, Tap, Tap.

Shoes ran along the edges of the room, a woman with a gracefully elegant dress and high heeled shoes paraded across the hallway.

My Mother. Luccinia thought, her mind catching onto her Mothers deep brown hair and curious green eyes.

Of course, today was the day that it was a dinner party. Not just any dinner party. A capitol one. With buyers coming to the house to purchase freaking nightengales.

The dining room table was set with an elegant crimson and gold tablecloth, the best plates they could find, and tall goblets filled with cranberry juice. The reflection of the mirror flashed back each and every place setting, making it feel more contented than before.

And Luccinia wasnt dressed yet.

Five minutes. Her Mother had warned her.

But, Luccinia hadn't exactly changed into the stuffy gown yet.

She decided to do that.

Well, it wasnt going to do her justice in her robe, tied all around her like some type of duck.

She went upstairs, paraded around in the dress and sat down on the table.

First bite, guess what?

She choked.
