Jemina isn't very tall, standing at 4'10". She's also very thin and wiry, but quite strong, due to all the work she's done outside in the fields. Her eyes are dark brown and her hair is a mixture of different hues of brown and black. It's slightly curly, and falls a bit past her shoulders. She often wears it tied back in two pigtails, as not to get in her way when she's working. Her skin is darker than anyone else in her family. The colour of caramel, her mother always says.

Personality:

Jemima is extremely bubbly, and friendly. She loves life, and is always optimistic about everything, no matter now bad things get, she's always able to see something good about the situation. She's very curious, and wants to learn everything there is to know about the world around her. Sometimes though, Jemima has a tendency to be too friendly, and tends to get annoying, asking too many questions about different things. But over all, she has a very kind heart, and cares deeply about all her friends and family. Jemima also has a secret fear of being alone. She's shared a room someone all her life, and is rarely alone. In fact, it's almost become somewhat of a paranoia. She can't go out anywhere by herself and always has to make up excuses why she needs to be accompanied.

History:

Jemima's family is made up of her mother, father and her two older brothers. Also, living with them is her uncle, aunt, two cousins and grandmother. Like Jemima, her entire family is big-hearted, so when her father's brother and his family were evicted from their home, they couldn't turn them away, even having so little themselves. When her husband passed away, they took in Jemima's grandmother as well. Unlike many residents of the district, the Fields' own a very small patch of their own land, although it's barely enough to support ten people, so Jemima, her two brothers and one of their two cousins sign up for tesserae each year.
