Vaungaylen LaRue-D11

This somewhat buff boy has brown, straight hair. He has bangs, too. His eyes are deep, deep sapphire blue. They are round under his dirt-brown bushy eyebrows. His lips are pinkish and often stained with berry juice.
Vaungaylen's neck is long and thick. His shoulders are the same, long and thick. You could say Gaylen is muscular, but he is much to skinny. He has some muscles that you can see, but he's real skinny. His skin is naturally tan.
Gaylen's legs are long and skinny, perfect for a runner. Because he is one to walk barefoot, his feet are often covered with blisters. They are quite normal-sized.
Vaungaylen LaRue wears plaid shirts. Since his favorite color is red, you would often find him wearing red and blue plaid shirts along with jeans and sandals.

Gaylen. Hyper, outgoing, cowardly Gaylen. This boy is loud, definately loud. He is passionate, and isn't afriad to speak his mind. This is, to Gaylen, a flaw he needs to work on. Many agree. He is eager to do almost anything.... exept going to reapings, of course.
Vaungaylen is outgoing. He would talk to almost anyone that he knows. He knows how to resolve a situation and his ideas are always either impossible or crazy, yet effective. Adults call him 'The Owl of Craze'. Gaylen hates this.
The boy is cowardly. He acts oh-so cool and then flees at the last moment. He has a good sense of humor, but he always starts shivering if he made a horrible or offensive joke. If he was chosen for the Hunger Games, his first order of buisness will be to hide. Hide and wait for a good time.

Vaungaylen LaRue had one brother. Ben Arch LaRue. Ben is now 14. Gaylen's mother is Harriet LaRue. Their father is Howard Griffin LaRue. Mrs. LaRue was originally from D4. She misses her home badly, but does not regret moving to D11 with the love of her life.
Gaylen was a good boy when he was young. He was obidient, but very loud. He seemed fascinated by all of his surroundings. He loved agriculture and often helped his parents plant crops. Ben would collect berries because he wanted to.
As Gaylen got older, Ben became blind. He had to be taken care of. Gaylen had to set off to get food and maybe even hunt. It was a matter of time before Ben got ill. Berries, edible bark, and some deer wasn't enough. So Gaylen had to steal from the District's crops. It was successful for the first few months.
But the Peacekeepers started to get suspicious. They looked for ill people and searched homes. When they got to Gaylen's house, they found extra apples and food. They knew it was they who stole the food. The Peacekeepers turned Ben into an Avox and sent him off, even though Gaylen kept screaming about how he was the thief and he wasn't. The Peacekeepers thought this was 'Very sweet'.
The family now hated Gaylen. His parents thought it was his fault Ben is now an Avox. Driven mad, Gaylen spent his nights shut up in his room, not eating. He currently is trying to make new friends so he can keep away from his parents, who remind him about Ben every second of the day.

Vaungaylen's birthday is on the 23rd of May.
