Vaca Caballo, District 10

Vaca has a more cowgirl look. Her long, muscular yet slim legs allow her to stand at 5'7". She has long arms that end halfway down her thighs. She is slim, though not enough so it's scary. Her face is in the shape of an upside-down triangle with large, expressive eyes. She has long, nimble fingers and her body is built for running more than anything else.

Vaca's eyes are probably the most beautiful thing on her. They are large, almost like doe-eyes, and are almost too expressive. A person could guess her thoughts based solely upon the emotions in her eyes. The inner rims of her eyes (the majority of the color; the area nearest the pupil) is the lightest, iciest blue imaginable. The outer rimming of her eyes are the normal blue color. Her hair falls about halfway down her upper back and is raven black. She usually wears it either in a ponytail, two braids, or a bun. Her hair can be hard to mess with and is straight.

Vaca has a light dusting of freckles over the bridge of her nose and under her eyes. She has a fair complexion and her skin is a light tan from working in the sun. She wears well-worn boots that are quite dusty, light brown cotton pants, and a white shirt under a brown leather vest or jacket on a usual day. On reaping days, Vaca puts her hair into a ponytail twist where she puts her hair first in a ponytail and then twists it around and down inward toward her head, pulling down so it twists and stays secure. She wears a blue dress that matches the outer ring coloring of her eyes and white flats for shoes.

Vaca is fun-loving and energetic. She's kind to her friends, treating them like they were her siblings, but is shy toward people she doesn't know, even if her family knows them. She is a very sarcastic person, and makes a lot of comments when she has the chance. If you get her mad, she often spits out words she later regrets and it takes quite a bit to calm her down. She can make comments that are quite mean, but she usually doesn't mean them.

Vaca finds the Hunger Games disgusting and rational. She thinks there is no point in the Games since she figures the districts are just going to rise and overpower the Capitol anyway. Vaca would volunteer if a child under the age of 14 got picked to be a tribute just because she finds it arrogant and harsh to kill innocent children. Her motto is "As long as it's me, not them." She hates the Capitol and all the people living in it because she thinks it is disgusting how they find entertainment in watching children kill other children.

Vaca is a prankster, loving to pull pranks on people and making jokes out of anything. She is a very sweet person and would do anything for her family. She loves horses, they're her favorite animal, and wouldn't hurt a fly if it tried to kill her. She loves her dog, Kadie, with all her heart and takes her wherever she goes.

As a young girl, Vaca grew up learning about the cattle and horses at a very young age. She spent nearly every day out with the livestock, the horses mostly, and would write down everything she observed about them even if it was in her kindergarten handwriting or just scribbles. She learned the animals' behaviors and her favorite animal instantly became the horse. She would weave wildflowers into the horses' manes and brush their coats clean. Even as she was older she continued to do this.

As a 10-13 year old, Vaca's father taught her how to skin, slaughter, and freeze chickens, cattle, and the sheep. She worked pretty good with an axe and her arms grew very muscular from lifting pounds of meat and putting it on the chains in the freezers. She went about District 10 skinning, killing, and freezing animals for money and that was how she earned money for her family.

Vaca's father got killed by an angry bull when she was 14 years old. She was a daddy's girl, so for a couple months she was in depression until she realized she had to help feed her family with the help of her mother. Because she got out of her depression, her mother got her a golden female dog which Vaca named, Kadie and she loves her very much. Vaca hates reaping days because the family's of the chosen children are weeping and mourning so horribly that it tears at her heart.
