Emerald LightShadow – District 10 *Complete*

Standing at just 4’11” with a weight of 95lbs Emerald is small for her age. With almond shaped mismatched eyes – one green, one blue and rose pink heart shaped lips she could be described as pretty. She has a small nose with a slight upturn. Red hair that reaches just below her shoulders stands out against her pale skin. Her face is a heart shape and she has high cheekbones.

Slight curves that show through her baggy clothing prove that she has a shape, despite her attempts to hide it. She has long legs for her height and arms to match. Her hands in contrast are tiny, as are her feet. She loves to wear brown clothes to match the earth. She often chooses not to bother with shoes too. They bother her.

She walks with a limp. Also she has a scar across her cheek. A third fault with her appearance, some would say are her eyes are a flaw. Along with her height. She looks far from normal. Some call her; A surreal beauty.

Aside from her looks, Emerald is far from perfect. She loves to climb trees and talk to herself. She can often be found talking to trees and plants, or 'Tamzin', 'Laura' and 'Jenna' - her imaginary friends. Although, they are more like multiple personalities. Emerald also likes to poke people

Jenna - Emerald talks to Jenna when angry. Jenna 'trains' her to fist fight and fight with a dagger. However this is useless, because if in a proper long range fight, Emerald would have no experience. Emerald often fights with Jenna because of disagreements they have. Like Jenna likes squirrels, rabbits and mockingjays whereas Emerald is terrified them. The internal conflict sometimes gets too much for Emerald and she will faint. She will always wake up five-ten minutes later saying that Jenna hit her around the head with a log or a rock.

Tamzin - Tamzin is Emerald's best friend. She listens to her and is always on her side when Jenna is involved. Although, Emerald and Tamzin often fight internally about clothing, Tamzin always wants Emerald to dress more feminine. Emerald hates the style though. A lot of the time, Emerald will fake an accent when talking to Tamzin, it's a way to differenciate between the two at least. Eme is very giggly when talking to Tamzin and she doesn't realise it. As a tomboy, if she ever found out, she'd probably jump out of the highest tree she could find.

Laura - Laura is the vacant side of Emerald. She is always the side talking to flowers and other plants. She is extremely serene and loves animals. Again, causing a lot of internal conflict between herself and her host. Although none of these conflicts are as bad as what she has with Jenna and she usually feels terribly guilty afterwards. Laura is the sensitive one, if anyone is mean to her in any way, she breaks down instantly. Emerald usually listens to Laura most, occasionally going out in dresses for her with hair in pigtails.

Emerald - The hostess. She has her three personalities and herself. Scared of squirrels, rabbits, mockingjays, fruit and even bread Emerald is the epitome of odd. Emerald always wants to be in a tree or trying to make friends, but most people don't want to know because they think she is too weird. Emerald is always up for a challenge, especially if it is to prove she is better than what people think. She isn't scared of death, instead she would embrace it. She wants to die nobally, not in the games.

Being an only child, Emerald went crazy from lonliness at age 5. She tried to befriend a squirrel once, her fear originated when the squirrel scratched her across her cheek, leaving her with a scar. Her fear of bread and fruit is coincedental, no one knows why she is scared of it. Just that she is. Along with her fear of rabbits, which was from being pounced on by one as it tried running from a hunter. The mockingjay fear came from her getting scared when it copied her when she whistled once.

She walks with a limp, consequence of falling out of a tree and braking her leg. It never fully healed because the healer wasn't the most experienced. It hinders her running and she can only run short distances. It slows her tree climbing too, and she often falls out of them. But she has learnt how to cushion the fall. The limp often scares the few animals she loves off which upsets her greatly.

She wears a single emerald necklace that her father gave her on her fourth birthday. It has a symbollic meaning to her because it was the last thing she was given before he died. She helps her mother on their little farm because it was her father's deathwish. She loves to go out and tries to stay out of the house, even when it is raining. She adores the pet goat, and named it Kathy. The horses scare her though, and they only got the horses through luck, they had alot of grass. But the horses brought in money when sold for food, not much most of the time, but some. Except one, her mother was particularly close to Hollie.
