Stormie Weather District 10

Stormie is skinny and her blonde hair the color of sunlight with a twinge of orange. She wears lots of ocean based dresses that are embroidered at the hem. Her tan skin is the color of a white horse's mane. She isn't extremely fit and has some muscles, but mostly excels in areas with acrobatics. She has a small nose and the eyes behind them are a light gray. She is five feet and two inches, making her a medium size.

She has many flaws to her body. She has a scar where her horse dragged her on her right wrist, paired with a scar on her back where she was whipped by a peacekeeper. She has spina bifida occulta located to the base of her back causing it to slightly have an unnessecary curve. To add to those flaws, she has a birthmark on the back of her left leg that looks like a cloud. Her hair is usually decently kept, but does tend to frizz and hide her face.

Stormie has is wise and usually has a tid-bit of advice for anyone to have a mouthful of it. Money and wealth do not usually concur her, but she wishes, that she could be rich not for her, but for others. She tries to humble herself, and keep in mind that life may be difficult, and is worth it. She although wants to keep herself bodied and able, wants to start a family some day and has been in various relationships that have ended in her breaking up.

Her friends come for advice, but Stormie needs advice usually more than them. They come with questions of dramatic events, while she has life decisions to make. The only time she turns someone away is when she knows they need to learn it themselves. She feels a devotion to her home, and her friends for their help in taking care of her sister.

The reason for her devotion is because her sister needs every few days, money. This is also a reason Stormie desires wealth, to buy her sister medicine so she can live a long life. She does her best to buy medicine (by taking over watering), as does everyone, to care for her. Her twin sister sometimes seems to read her mind and tells her to stop trying so hard, that it won't help, but Stormie keeps striving hard. She wants to enter the Hunger Games even though her wise and kind nature tell her that it isn't a great idea.

She has some interesting hobbies, phobias, and bad habits. She usually reads a book in her spare time or writes about her life and how she feels (she calls this her unreasonable concerns book). She is deafeningly afraid of supernatural beings (from all her fantasy and horror books she reads) and any type of snake (from the non-fictional section). One of her bad habits is hording, she finds that whenever she throws something away she needs it (for example a piece of paper with crops from five years ago and she once it gone she needs to give it to examiners). She also has a bad habit of being mouthy towards people who disrespect her and her family (like peacekeepers).

I don't think anyone could call Stormie outgoing and super friendly, but if you come up to her and ask, she'll answer. She is uptight around others, but when she's completely alone, away from her large school, she acts like a normal kid. She isn't always acting like some saint or giving advice, she has some fun once and awhile. Stormie tries to be "fun" at school, but for some reason, it just isn't her personality. She is really bad with guys she might flirt privately, but in public, she only allows chit-chat. She's not who she is when she's with friends, and it is just a switch, between the public and private.

Stormie's mother and father are simply farmers and sheep herders which is hard to live with people that love their jobs. Stormie was born an hour before her twin sister. At the age of nine her sister showed that she had the Pompe Disease. A disease that causes muscles to be damaged, and if it spreads to her heart she dies.

Stormie feels bad about drawing the lucky part of the stick and blames herself. This medicine treats the problem, something that will make it difficult for her sister to live a normal life. Her sister has a tough time breathing and being a teenager. This disease is recessive and is found inside families. Usually Stormie shudders thinking that if another guy, has the same recessive gene, that she could create a child just like her sister.

She has been in relationships with guys even though she helps out on the farm and takes care of her sister, she always has a need for some guy. The crushes and boyfriends of her past usually end up disappointed. Crushes are usually at the edge of her thoughts, pushed into a tiny crevice, allowing her to do her normal tasks. Boyfriends she gets too busy for or finds them needy. She has a sister to take care of so they need to be able to stand their ground.

Her relationship with her family is a decent bond, its not "I share everything with them", but its not an "I hate them so much". So she loves her family, but she has a secret; she blames them and herself for her sister. If her parents hadn't both had the gene, her sister wouldn't be in trouble like she is now. Her sister and her sometimes read each others minds, but they aren't close, they just look alike.
