Jay Lily ~ District 12

Jay is a girl with long, dark, curly hair that tends to attract a lot of attention. Her eyes are a dark brown. She dresses a bit above average for a District 12 girl. Her nose is rounded and doesn't seem to really be much of an attractive feature. Her skin is also rather pale.

She dresses pretty much the same every day and will only put her hair up occasionally. Her teeth are very white yet crooked. Jay is an average height and weight for her age. She looks like she is very well fed unlike most people in the district. She loves to show off her looks.

Jay wears a ring on her finger that she plans to give to her sister if Jay gets reaped. Many of her facial features such as her eyebrows seem very sketchy. Her eyelashes are also very intricate. Jay likes to put make-up on her eyes as eyeshadow but since they don't have any she will sometimes use coal dust which often gets in her eyes. Her mother doesn't like her using coal dust.

Jay can be quite a bit of a show off. She likes to attract attention. Unlike most people in her District she does not fear being reaped. It's not that she wants to be reaped but she wouldn't mind it. She isn't really fond of very many people.

Jay is very fond of the MockingJays and JabberJays, on the other hand. She loves to sing and listen to her music echoed back to her. Her main concern never seems to be her family or friends, but more or less her looks. Her main fear of going into the arena is that she doesn't know how to use any weapons. Her best skill is being able to sway people to doing what she wants.

Jay can tend to be a bit of a snob and very selfish. She is also overly selfconfident. Her looks may attract people but this seems to draw them away. She only really seems to care for one person in her family which is her little sister, Cardinal. Otherwise she doesn't seem to really care for anyone but herself and keeping herself alive.

Jay lives with her little sister, Cardinal. She also lives with her parents. On a daily basis the only one she really cares about is herself and Cardinal because she figures her parents can do everything on their own. On a daily basis Jay tends to stick to the trees where she talks with the birds. She also scrounges around for food keeping herself well fed. She will give what is left over to Cardinal.

Jay doesn't really have any friends in District 12. Her family doesn't seem to care about her too much because they say she acts to much like she is in District 1 or the Capitol. They also say that she tends to be full of herself. She used to have an older brother but he had gotten reaped years earlier, when he was 12 for the 51st Games. He never really comes into her thoughts unless the reaping is coming up or has just passed.

Jay and Cardinal are basically best friends because there isn't really anyone too fond of either of them. Jay often will make fun of the men who have to work in the coal mines everyday. This has gotten her in trouble many times at home. This doesn't really concern her seeing as though she continues to do it anyways. Jay's mother acts more as a merchant.
