Sonny Prysseler, Capitol

Sonny is not what you would call attractive. In fact among the many beautiful people of the Captiol most would call him ugly, but his hideousness is strictly contained to the outside.

His eyes are dark blue, set heavily in his scarred face and all around unremarkable, though the colour may be considered pretty if someone took the time to look at them. The lashes that frame them are thick and short, and his eyebrows are bushy and permanently knit together.

Sonny's face is scarred from acne as a teen and work as an adult. His features are bulky and the tone of his skin always gives the image of having just stepped in from a cold winter's day. His chin is strong, inherited from his father and has a small dimple in the center of it. He hates his chin and always keeps it shrouded by a bushy beard. His lips are thin and chapped from constant chewing, though his teeth are white and perfectly straight.

Sonny's hair is dark brown and nearly untameable. It's curly and frizzy and breaks every brush brought within a mile of it. It's so curly that it is difficult to cut evenly, so Sonny keeps it long often pulling it back into a ponytail at the nape of his neck.

Now, Sonny is a big guy, standing at around 6'5 and weighing about 200 lbs. He's built like a beast with huge hands and feet, and an agile body which is where his go-by nickname came from. He works to keep in peak physical condition, and his whole body weight is comprised of muscle. His body fat percentage is less than 6%. He also works to keep his body, near hairless so that he can show off his crazy muscles at will. But the waxing sometimes results in a red rash on his chest.

Sonny works to keep his hygiene perfect now that he is a successful adult. His beard is always trimmed, his nails kept short and tidy. He always smells nicely of mint, though getting close enough to smell him isn't something most people want to do. His skin is slightly tanned from being outside so much, and his ripped arms have some silvery scars running down them.

Like earlier mentioned, if Sonny was a beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside, no girl would be able to keep their hands off him.

Sonny has a kind heart and is always willing to do something to help someone. One of the few in the Capitol who can appreciate beauty, he will go to lengths to protect all beauty. Sonny is brave and protective, jumping into a fight to protect what he loves no matter the circumstances. He is a hopeless romantic and almost ferocious in his passion for life and love.

His unending loyalty can sometimes make him gullible however, and he has learned to be careful who he gives his love to, because they may take advantage of him. Sonny isn't stupid, but he is too loving and faithful for his own good.

He also is slave to a short temper, and bursts of rage. Though they don't show often, when he gets angry it's punch first ask questions later and you don't want to be near him when he loses it. When he is angry or stressed he can lash out at people he likes, and seems to give in to the taunts of people on the street more easily. Normally though, he is sweet, funny a little shy and a great person to be around.

Sonny didn't start out well, his parents were well off, but disrespected and the fact that they bore such a hideous child only got them further shunned from society. When Sonny was old enough to understand why the kids at school hated him and his family he vowed to become so respected that it would be impossible for them to hate him.

His parents raised him well, teaching him compassion and patience, but he was never very close to either of them and left home when he got accepted to university. He still speaks to them, but rarely visits, and they could not be prouder of their son.

He studied all throughout school to be the top of his class and when he grew up got accepted to the most respected architecture school in Panem. The road was tough, but by the time Sonny was 20, he had designed several highly acclaimed buildings in Panem and was the most popular architect among Capitol officials.

When Sonny was eleven and first going to a large school, he was being teased after class one day and had one of his moments of rage. His already huge frame and ham-sized fists making the bullies realize they had gotten in over their heads. They told people that Sonny had transformed into a raging beast and his nickname was born. He accepted the name and worked it to his advantage, training his body to fit the description and fitting his ferocious business attitude to match it as well. Most people call him Beast, and many people don't even know or remember his real name.

Sonny is currently madly in love. It wasn't long after he became famous and rich that the parent sent wedding proposals started knocking down the doors. Most he didn't accept, but then one day mail came telling Sonny of a girl he had met once before. She was so beautiful and intelligent that he couldn't help but fall for her and accept the proposal. Some people in the Capitol bad-mouth her and Sonny is always there to defend her, fists out and heart on his sleeve.

She makes Sonny feel handsome and loved, and he does everything in her power to make her happy. He adores her so completely that he is nearly blind to her faults.
