Age: 18
Gender: Female
District/Area: The Capitol
Appearance:
Galaxy has blonde hair with all colors of the rainbow dyed into it. It is straight and goes down to her shoulders. She is rather short, barely reaching five feet tall.Personality:
When she was young she was playing around with a stick and unfortunately poked her left eye out. One advantage of living in the capitol, however, was that she had money and the option of a glass eye. She has a small collection of glass eyes, and she likes to wear one of a different color every day. Her right eye is a light violet color.
She has a tattoo that starts at the corner of her right eye and is made up of intricate swirls and spirals all the way down to the edge of her jaw. She also has a tattoo on the back of her neck of a string of fourteen tiny daisys. She has two more tattoos, one on each wrist, wrapping around them like a bracelet. The one on her left wrist says TOPAZ ROSS, and the one on her right wrist says NASH HARVEY. She figures she can get them removed after the Games are over.
She likes to wear light pink lipstick, and rainbow eyeliner that matches her hair. Sometimes, she even takes a little extra time to put sparkles on that tattoo on her face. She is almost always seen wearing earrings and a necklace, or an accessory of some sort.
Galaxy is carefree, like many young people in the capitol. She likes to walk around the city with her friends and see all the new fashions. She is very social and outgoing. It is very easy for her to start a conversation, and she is willing to talk to almost anyone. She loves meeting new people.History:
Galaxy is also very ignorant. You can't really blame her though, since she was born in the capitol and has lived there all her life. She doesn't really know much about how people in the districts live, but she can spout off any number of facts from all the past Hunger Games. She loves the Hunger Games. You can barely tear her away from the screen when they're going on. And when there isn't a new Hunger Game going on, she is almost certainly watching one of the older ones. She makes sure to watch something Hunger Games related at least once every day.
Galaxy couldn't really tell you why she loves the Hunger Games so much. Maybe it's because she was brought up watching them. Maybe it's because it's expected of her. But one thing she knows is that when she's watching the Games, everything changes. Her body shuts down and all that's left is her mind, thinking, watching, knowing. Sometimes she feels like she's there. Sometimes, she can feel the pain she sees on the Tribute's faces. She can feel the adrenaline pumping through their veins. She can feel the terror. And maybe that's why she loves the Games. Because otherwise, terror and pain are two things she rarely feels.
She isn't very smart. She knows what she needs in order to live(how to count, read, stuff like that), but she doesn't know how to do things people in the Districts need to know in order to survive. She can't start a fire, cook, mend clothes, and she hasn't worked a day in her life. But she knows one thing: how to obey. She knows the rules. She doesn't see why anyone would ever want to break them, though, or have need to. The people in charge provide everything they need to live. She doesn't understand why anyone would challenge that.
Galaxy is quite creative. She likes to paint, and is usually surprised by what she creates. She doesn't sit down to paint with an idea in her mind. She just lets her hand flow, creating what it wants to. It usually ends up being something very dark and mysterious. Like a ray of light in a world of black, or a flower blooming in a world of destruction. She doesn't understand what these things mean, so she often keeps her creations hidden. They scare her. She has never shown them to anyone else.
She is very sensitive about her glass eye, but when someone brings it up, she just acts like it's no big deal. She doesn't want people to give her unwanted attention because of it.
Galaxy doesn't really know much about her parents. She knows her father works, but what he does, she doesn't know. Her mother is always out somewhere with friends. She can't remember the three of them ever eating a meal or really doing anything at all together. She can't recall having any long conversations with either of them.Codeword: odair
She considers her parents good parents. They've always given her what she's wanted, and she never been without something in her life. She doesn't know that she's supposed to expect anything more from them.
Most of her friends are people she has known her whole life. She has newer friends, too, but she doesn't spend as much time with them. Even though she's been with her friends for so long, she doesn't really know that much about them except for what fashions they like and who they're supporting in the Hunger Games.
