Swallow-Anne Rute ---- District 10

Baby fat still clings to her cheeks, her eyes too wide and doe like. Anyone who didn't actually know Swallow-Anne would think she was just the sweetest most adorable little 14 year old in the world. Button nose and full pouty lips, she was just a fresh as a dew drop. There was no way that someone this innocent looking could do anything rotten... That was unless you actually knew her.

Her dark hair fell around her like a curtain, hiding her from the world that she didn't give a shit about. You'd think that the way she peaks out from behind it she'd be a shy girl. Those piercing green blue eyes, the color of the sky before a massive thunderstorm, would follow you around watching and studying your moves before she'd pounce. Her words slow, deliberate, intentional. Her lips rarely smiled. She knew exactly what she was doing, the games she was playing.

If you didn't know her you would think that she was awkward and unsure of the budding curves of her body. Not comfortable with the swaying her hips did, not used to the husky voice that slipped out...but if you knew her you'd know that the jiggle of her breasts and perkiness of her rear was all a ploy to get you to pay attention. She'd never tell you her age, only leave you to guess, because in the end the only one that mattered was Swallow-Anne. and some times Tallow.

Conniving, sneaky, sweet as sugar. There were lots of way to describe Swallow-Anne. Most of them were nothing but lies though, most people didn't know her more than the girl smoking outside by the dumpsters. Letting random guys feel her up as her best friend was doing the same. she wasn't a bad girl per say, just bored. Bored of life, bored of district ten, bored of the community home, bored of everything. So this was her way to try to find some excitement.

Lying was one of the biggest problems people had with her. You'd never know if the words coming out of her mouth were actually what was going on, or if it it was just another one of her fish tales. Swallow-Anne could give a shit less though. She would say what she want and when she wanted. Really, what are they going to do to a 14 year old? Especially a 14 year old ORPHAN.

You know there a real problem with Swallow-Anne when her fingers start to twitch. It means she wants more. Morphling. only sometimes Pills. More often then not. She always wanted something to take the edge off. It really wasn't her fault though. Being born a morphling baby wasn't her choice. It just happened, and now she still had to deal with the effects. Remember, nothing was ever her fault.

Swallow-Anne Rute was never going to be a normal girl. She was going to be something more. Something different. She was born to two wanderers in the middle of the District Square. Taken away before the trash could even recover. Taken to the Community Home, or ya know the orphanage. The place is a joke, barely getting the basics, she decided to use the only thing she had, her body.

Its not like she didn't enjoy what she did, it got her extra money and away from that god forsaken place. It got her around new people. She'd never really been caught, or even in trouble for it. Even though the other kids around school ran their f-cking mouths. Saying she was a whore, druggie, drunk, loser. Good think she didn't care, all she cared about was herself. and some times Tallow.

So now she's just waiting to grow up. Waiting to fill out, mature, develop. Wasting her time by the dumpsters, like the trash she is, messing stuff up around town, being a bratty little 14 year old shit. Destroying what little shame she has left and leaving the rest to f-cking burn. There isn't anyone going to save her so why should she care anymore. All she has left is this life.
