Sevin Cortez - District 10

Sevin is five feet eleven inches tall, and he moves gracefully, sure-footed and agile. He is wiry with defined muscle tone but not overly bulky, just nicely toned. He has short, dark brown hair, cut choppily and worn in spikes.

Sevin's eyes are the most unusual think about his appearance, very pale jade green, striking to see and almost suggesting a sort of feline aspect, the amazing thing is that they are natural. Long dark lashes set his eyes off even more.

Sevin's face has high cheekbones, and full lips. His teeth are straight and white, though his left front tooth is badly chipped. His hands are big but with long slender fingers. He has both of his ears pierced, a somewhat weird affectation. As far as clothes, he wears whatever is provided to him without caring too much.

Sevin tries to treat life as one big joke because he is not very pleased with his own life at this point. He is sarcastic and witty, but sometimes makes someone mad by being too much of a smart-ass. He is secretive and prone to sneaking off alone while he day-dreams about running away and escaping.

He is artistic, liking to write songs and sing them, and appreciates anyone being entertained by his music. He isn't all bad, though, he is very kind to and protective of his two brothers and his sister.

He is rebellious and sometimes infuriates his father and uncle; he also does not really like school very much at all and tends to not do his best there, either.

When he is with his siblings or peers, though, he is friendly and even outgoing, but it often feels as if he is hiding something.

If there is one thing that Sevin hates, it's pigs. His parents Rivas and Reine own and operate a successful feed store and livestock care center, but his Uncle Marran has a farm, with pigs, and somehow Sevin has ended up having to help out on said farm, because his Uncle is childless. And Sevin is the oldest of four siblings. So he gets to take care of pigs.

He dreams of running away, of escaping.

At least he hasn't been reaped, yet, probably because his family is well off enough not to have to take tesserae. He would be, he supposes, if it was just up to luck. Sometimes he wonders if his parents had 4 kids so that if they did lose one, they'd still have another. He dreams of escaping that, too, but only one more year and he will be done with the Games.

And then he will just have to figure out how to be done with PIGS, and get on with his life, in which he dreams of being able to be some kind of entertainer. He already is known for his singing and guitar playing in the local festivals, and that is what Sevin would like to do with his life...
