Shadow District Twelve

He is 5’7” without a piece of fat on his body. He weighs just over 133 lbs. He has dark brown eyes, almost black. He has short straggly brown hair. He usually wears a dark shirt and jeans that are a little too baggy.

He is skinny almost to the point of being unhealthy. He has long legs that help him run. Shadow looks as if he hasn’t eaten anything in days. His clothing is so torn up so that it looks like strips of cloth sewn together. Nobody knows his real name so they just call him shadow.

He is a devious young man. Just barely the age of thirteen yet he has probably became the most successful thief yet. He is known as the Shadow because that is all you see if you realize he has picked your pocket. He is a very loyal boy though, not something you would expect from a trouble maker.

He is very quick and light on his feet. Moves silently and has soft hands. On the other hand he is not to strong once you catch him. He will lie when he needs to but, he usually tells the truth. He is street smart not book smart.

He is very serious, all about the business. He is very courageous and will stand up for what he believes in. He has some anger issues that will cause him to do some pretty strange things. He is mad at the capitol for what they did to his parents but, he is smart enough to keep that quiet. He always finds away to charm the ladies but, he usually drops them like they’re hot.

From the time he was a little boy his parents were always working in order to uproot the capitol. The capitol killed his aunt in the hunger games and his mom hated them for that. His dad though, had a very close friend that was called for the Hunger Games. His friend was killed in the very first day by some career in district one. Since then his parents have been working to cause as much harm in the capitol as possible.

His parents were killed while they were trying to free some prisoners that were just caught in twelve. The prisoners were marching to get in the train when his parents tried to attack the peace keepers but, were shot on the spot. Both his parents and the prisoners were shot on the spot. Shadow watched the whole thing from less than fifty feet away. From that day forward Shadow has wanted to kill President Snow and his followers. All of this changed when he learned about district thirteen in a history lesson at school. He learned that district thirteen attempted to destroy the capitol, so, district thirteen got destroyed.

Before that day he was less cautious about his plans. Since then, he has always hid “weapons” (sharpened sticks, kitchen knives, etc…) in convenient places. He always wanted to defy the capitol so he gathered up his courage and formed up a plan. there was going to be a whipping coming up, so, he used that as a distraction and "accidentally" nudged a peace keeper into a crowd of people. Then while the peace keeper was distracted, he dug into his pocket, pulled out his wallet and melted back into the crowd before anyone knew what happened.
