Aria Rayn (District 11) (Finished)

Aria is not short but not tall; standing at about 5'6'' and weighting in at 130 pounds. Aria doesn't look it, but she is very strong and it comes from doing a lot of work. She looks very worn out from having five kids and working a lot. Her tan face seems very tired and gives you the impression that she has worked most of her life and might collapse any second.

Aria has light brown hair and brown eyes. She has tan skin that can sometimes be called 'sun-kissed'. She has very thin and tight lips that can give off the impression that she might be angry with you. Aria likes to wear her work boots around the house and her overalls with her white shirt underneath it. She doesn't like her hair down, so she braids it off to the side instead.

Aria is a very strong-willed person. She doesn't like to let things get in her way and stop her from doing what she wants to do. She loves to be alone and to have time to think and wonder about everything. Aria is very creative and doesn't like it when people try and tell her what to think and what to feel. She is all into having the Hunger Games thrown away because of her children.

Aria is a very protective mother and sister. She doesn't like it when someone she cares about gets hurt. She hates the sight of blood and will feel the need to barf at it. She doesn't like the Hunger Games because she lost a family member in them. She hates being reminded of how the Capitol controls them and what they do. She doesn't like the feeling that there will never be an end to it.

Aria is very compasionate when it comes to family. She believes that family means no one gets left behind and she sticks to that saying everyday. She feels extremly overloaded everyday when her children get in trouble at home and around the District. She doesn't like the fact that her children have to be faced with the Hunger Games. She is overly protective of them and will do whatever it takes to keep them out of the games.

Aria was born into a very poor family. She was the oldest and next came her two-year-younger brother Max. Her and Max never really got along because Aria was very jealous of him because he got all the attention. But, one day when they were playing at a park; Aria six and Max four, a boy came up and started to pick on Max. Aria went up to the boy and beat him up for messing with her little brother and that is when they started to get along.

When Aria turned seven years old, her father and mother split; her father taking her brother. Aria felt broken hearted beause she spent this whole time trying to protect her little brother when he was ripped out of her hands and life. She struggled to be okay with it and to show her mother some respect. She always thought it to be her mother's fault because she was always being yelled at. And Aria thought her mother snapped at her father when it was her father that snapped at her mother. But, either way, Aria never truely found a way to forgive either of them.

Three years later, Aria sees her little brother again and it feels like a happy reunion. She felt like she had gotten some of her broken heart back, but her father didn't like it. Her father one night snatched Aria out from her room and stole her in the night from her mother without her noticing until the next morning. Her mother seached the whole District for her but came up empty handed. Well, that was until one of her neighbors came over and told her about what he saw that night.

Her mother was angry beyond all reasoning and so, she went off into the night, just like her ex-huband did, killed him and took back her two children. But, she didn't get away with it because the next day, they found his body and the mother was conviced and sent away, leaving her two little children alone without a mother or father. However, that is when her neightbor came up and took them into his house and raised them himself.

When Aria turned twelve, her neighbor, Hunter, was afraid for her because he didn't know if she was going to be reaped and he didn't want that to happen. Luckly though, for his sake, she wasn't reaped. However, to Aria's horror, her best friend, Emily, was reaped. Aria almost shouted 'I volunteer' but she looked at Hunter who just shook his head. But, in that one second, Aria was either going to chose life or death. Luckly for her though, Hunter was there and stopped her from volunteering. But, that cost her dearly when Emily died in the beginning from a spear to the chest by a District One girl.

Aria truely never got over her friend's death but knew that she had to move on and not let the past stop her. As she grew up, she had thoughts of running away, but it didn't seem very likely since Aria always thought about her brother way too much. She knew that she had to go though, she was only one year away from being out of the reaping and she couldn't bear the thought of being reaped. She thought she needed to leave, and that is what she did.

Aria started packing right near the reaping. She was getting a bag ready that she had bought at the Hob with her money before hand. She packed her three pairs of clothes, her hand-made bow that she made while she was bored and some arrows that went along with it. She was almost packed when her brother asked what she was doing. Aria turned around and gave him the full reason and he asked to go. However, Aria turned him down, stating that it was too dangerous.

Aria set out in the middle of the night to find her brother waiting outside their house fully packed. Aria gave in and told him to come along. After traveling the rest of the night, they found a good hiding spot and decided to rest the day away. Aria offered to take the first watch and Max didn't argue. Aria wandered off and when she came back her brother was mad at her. He asked her why she went off and said it was a bad idea and that they should go home. Aria begged her brother not to leave and that meant that she had to go too. But, he didn't listen and walked back into the District, but not before Aria had the chance to snatch him up. She walked back into the house and told James they went out for a walk.

After the reaping passed, she was free of the game's grip on her. But, her brother wasn't. She was worried about him, but he said to not be worried and to take care of herself. And that is what she did. About 1 year and a half later, She went out and found a handsom man named Liam. They hooked up and Aria got pregant with her first, and certainly not last, child. While she was seven months into her pregnancy, her little brother got reaped at the age of 18. Aria wanted to jump in a volunteer, but remembered that she was too old and she had a child on the way. After she had the baby, she found out it was a boy. She named him Max, after her brother who died in the bloodshed at the Cornicopia on his first day.

Aria didn't stop with one because she wanted a girl. And a girl is what she got. About three years after Max, she had her two child. After she had her, she decided to name her Rikki, after her mother who was still in prison. She brought her home and Max instantly looked her as the little sister she was. He helped with her around the house and there wasn't a day that went by that he didn't help her in some way. But, two years after that, there came Kailey, her third child and second girl. By this time though Max was five and Rikki was two. Kailey fit right into the family.

Max was the trouble maker of the family since a young age. Always moving things around, messing up the house, and not doing his work. Aria had a hard time keeping up after him let alone all three of them. Rikki, though, was mellow. She didn't really make any noise, which scared Aria because she didn't know what was wrong with her daughter. She found out that Rikki was mute. She had to spend a lot of her time with Rikki because she had to teach her to read, write, and do sign language. Though, the one everyone forgot was Kailey. Sure she was quiet, but they didn't really spend much time with her until her four birthday when she demanded that they paly with her. After that, she was labled the brat of the house by Max. This caused them to fight and this has been going on ever since. Aria has been chasing them around and trying to break it up. It finally broke up when Max turned 12. He found out how serious the games were and didn't want to waste anything on sibiling rivalries.

Max turned 15, Rikki turned 12, and Kailey turned 10 on the 61st Hunger Games. The Games has been a hastle for them and Aria trying to hard for them not to get reaped. Making sure they didn't take out teress to have the stakes higher.
