Appearance:

Aurora is beautiful little girl from district 11. She has short honey colored hair that just reaches past her ears. She has tiny ears that are very cute. Her eyes are a soft golden color that look yellow in direct sun. She has a small delicate nose and her mouth has pale soft lips. Her skin is very light despite her working in the orchards all day.

Her body is thin and frail, mostly due to the fact that she’s never had much food to eat, but she’s never been to large in her life. The skin on her hands and arms are soft despite the work she does. Her legs are the odd thing about her. They are strong, yet still pale, but they don’t look it. Despite all this still manages to do her work well.

Aurora loves to wear white, it’s her favorite color. Her white clothes have caused a few people to mistake her for a ghost floating among the trees. Her prize possession is a white knee-length dress that her mother gave her with a small magnolia sewn over the left side. She hates the color black and often refuses to look at anything of that color.

Personality:

Aurora is a pacifist. She hates fighting in any way. She would rather all her friends get along and be happy even if it means that’s she’s not. She cries a lot because of this. She really has a love for everyone, even the president and the Capitol citizens. This love sometimes causes the fights but she can’t help it.

She isn’t afraid of the Hunger Games even knowing she could never win. They do disgust her but she does not fear the reaping. If she were to go into the games she would not fight but try and survive until her death. She still hopes that none of her friends go into the games. She hopes one day this will all be stopped.

But what scares and surprises people the most is her sudden outburst of anger. It can happen at any time and anywhere. Luckily she has never performed one of these episodes before a Peacekeeper. When she is finished she immediately apologizes and usually runs off to cry her eyes out. None of her friends blame her for her outbursts but she wishes that she could die sometime because of the episodes.

History:

In the year of the 48th Hunger Games Hugh Lyrica and Melodic Lyrica gave birth to Aurora Lyrica. It was a troubled birth and left Aurora with a brain condition that caused her to go into fits of anger at any random time. Being from District 11 there was nothing the unhappy parents could do but hope she grew out of it or learned to live with it. As she grew older the fits became less frequent but never left.

When Aurora turned 12 she decided to become a pacifist. She hated her fits of anger and all the fighting of the world. She wishes nothing more than to stop as much of it as she can. She also meets her three best friends during this year who work alongside her in the orchards.

When she was just 10 she started working in the orchards close to her house. She has had some of her happiest times here. She is a hard worker and has always gotten her work done. Her three friends and her always work together. She wishes nothing more than to have a happy life here with them, but she knows that can never be.
