Appearance:

Ethel is 6’2.4” tall Caucasian man. Weighting around 139 pounds, his black hair and green eyes would be a beautifully combination, if it wasn’t for the dirt, scratches and bruises that have been acquired trough his short, but hard life. His skin is now hard and resistant. Though his years of work made him shape an athletic body, he never used his abilities in a difficult situation. Ethel never was a man of measuring his strength, as he was a person that tried to keep it for himself, but there were times that Ethel lifted more than 200 pounds worth of grain.

People never were nice to Ethel, only a few exceptions; Ethel isn’t good looking and is very timid, but when he speak, everyone notices that he is nice with the words. Not like Ethel cares about his appearance much, he think that appearance is minor in a person, that what the person cares in his heart is what really matters. Ethel likes to use comfortable and baggy clothes.

Ethel has minor asthma, not that affect him too much, but that has almost killed him two or three times.

Personality:

Ethel is a person full of hatred. For the Capitol and even from the stupid people that think that the Capitol will stand forever, Ethel know, that as anything, the Capitol will fall someday, but as his parents, Ethel isn’t a fool, he knows when to say what he thinks and he know when to fight for the things he live, because in the top of all, Ethan is an smart person, even though you may think the fields of the District 11 may turn anyone dumb, Ethan family always shaped him this way and not even the schools of the Capitol could change his mind.

Ethel is a lonewolf, his family was all dead by the age of 15, all of sickness or starvation; in Ethel eyes, victims of an broken system. Left alone Ethel learned that people shouldn’t be trusted, as they could backstab you when you most needed them, even though, in the inside, he knows that someday, if he really starts a revolution, he will need to trust his allies.

Masked, that’s how he look to all the other people, he endured personality is hard to notice, as he protects it. Avoiding to talk to people and sometimes almost dying because he didn’t want any help. Even though he never killed a person, it’s obvious for him that killing one wouldn’t affect him too much, his blood runs cold in his veins and he is ready to kill for his ideals and even die if necessary (But is always good to remember that Ethel isn’t a fool, so he will only sacrifice himself if necessary).

History:

Born in a very poor family of six members. His family though, where rebels at heart, but didn’t have the courage of standing up to the Capitol; that didn’t prevent they of teaching to the only child their way of thinking, they did this whenever they could, away from the Peacekeepers. Ethel grew seeing the truth and he was proud of it, even though he mostly kept it for himself. He would sit some time and think about a better world, without the Capitol to ruin their life. He would think of phrases that he would say if he was the leader of this nation.

Born in 14 of July, unique son of an poor family. Ethel received the same name of his father and was in a great part of his life called “Little Ethel”. His family used to travel trough the district a lot and the little boy was well know, at the time. It was around this time that Ethel’s asthma first started showing signs, in the beginning it was a big problem, but later would get better.

Some years later, while Ethel was only ten, Ethel father would die and the nickname “Little Ethel” would be used only a few times and normally in sad times. Ethel was shocked and cried by days, his father and his mother were the only persons of his family that really wanted him to have a bright future. With his father death, the political talk was greatly decreased in his home, but it did appear from time to time and Ethel held that dearly to him. For him, the Capitol had killed his father, no matter what the other people said.

The years passed and his family was slowly fading, to the point that the family was reduced to Ethel and his mother, until she died, when he was 15. Enraged, Ethel locked himself in home by two weeks so he could cry without doing something dumb. After this brief period time, a friend of his long dead father took Ethel, becoming his guardian… In the paper at least, It was well know by both of them that Ethel was all alone now, to choose his path in life.

Ethel decided to keep up with his normal life, waiting until he hit 18 years, so he could start working on a way to free his people from this damned oppression… But, he knew a way to get to the Capitol faster, it was harder, but that wasn’t the problem, the problem was that Ethel knew he would be giving what the Capitol want and he would never do such an thing.
