Appearance:
Ron has always been obsessive over his body, and it clearly shows. He has extremely defined muscles, showing off superior strength to any teenager in District 12, and probably most throughout Panem as well. He has a certain air of intimidation about him, probably because he has a reputation at school for being strong, fast, and always itching for a fight. He can always be found playing sports, working out, or watching the Games.Personality:
He is of medium height, with a stocky, muscled up body frame. He has a pretty dark complexion due to the many hours he stays out in the sun working the garden for his mother and working out on the weight set in his back yard. He has short, dark hair that he usually keeps spiked. His right eye is offset due to a birth defect and he only has 50% vision out of that eye. It is very noticeable, so he likes to wear glasses a lot.
Despite his love of fighting, Ron is actually a pretty good guy. He doesn't ever pick fights, he only fights for sport. He is well liked by most at school, and everyone knows who he is. He has a lot of friends at school, but none compare to his best friend, Morgan Bell, that he has known since early childhood. They are, and most likely will always be inseparable.History:
Ron is very poor. He has an older sister and a younger sister, and his mother does her absolute best to care for the three of them ever since his father passed away around four years ago. They don't have very much at all, which is a large reason why Ron tries to focus himself on other things, such as bodybuilding. However, he does not have a bad attitude about his poverty. He feels blessed to have what he does, and he and his family would go to any extent to protect each other.
Ron and Morgan have known each other for as long as they can remember. They are neighbors, although Morgan is much richer than Ron. They have always played sports together, and despite Morgan being a year older, Ron can keep up with him just fine, even exceeding him sometimes. Morgan is like a brother to Ron, and they decided long ago that if one of them were to be reaped, the other would help to take care of their family.
Ron's father passed away in a coal mining accident when Ron was ten years old. Although it is a very saddening event, Ron was not as shook up about it as his family was. They were already dirt poor to begin with, and his father never tried to do much for the family. He was a drunkard, and was often out until sunrise partying and doing things that a father of three shouldn't be. In Ron's opinion, he was the last thing on his father's mind, so now he makes sure that his father is the last thing on his.Codeword: odair
Despite is spotty history with his father, Ron loves his mother unconditionally. After his father's passing, his mother planted a garden and began to sell vegetables to support the family of four. Ron spends a good chunk out in that garden, picking vegetable sometimes for seven or eight hours a day to help her out. Although it wasn't good business at first, business has picked up in recent years, and the family is finally starting to get their finances stabilized. Their goal is to get an extra room for Ron added to the side of their house.
Ron has always been a fanatic of the Games. During the year of the 57th Games, when he was only nine years old, he got grounded for two months for betting money on his favorite tribute of all time, Soren Ryder. Needless to say, he lost every dime. He is glued to the TV every year during the Games, rooting faithfully for his home District. He considers it the ultimate sport.
