AnnikaTobin District 10 (FIN)

Appearance:
Annika's most striking feature's are her big pouty lips and her eyes that has Heterochromia iridum, with her right iris being color black and her left iris having a bright blue color. She has long black hair that goes down her back, which she normally doesn't fix it in any kind of pins or clips compelling it to have its messy look. Her skin is a little tanned because of spending to much time working outdoors. It is also spotted with scars from working in the barnyard but the most memorable one is the largest in her back that goes from her right shoulder to her left hips, that came from a peacekeepers whipping.

Annika stands at 5'7 tall.Her father, her only remaining family, is a butcher with a not-so-high salary, so Annika never had much to eat even though they were only two of them in the family Annika being a generous person would prefer to give her share of food to the people who need it more,other than to put it in her own mouth, resulting to her somewhat slim figure.

Personality:
Annika is a positive thinker, who never forgets to greet and smile at whoever she meets. An adventurous young lady, mature enough to fight for her own needs. She ain’t picky and would do any job necessary. She is also a good bargainer that the vendor’s enormously love. She’s a little forgetful though, making it her downside in doing many tasks.

Annika has only 1 remaining family, her father, a skinny middle-aged man who works as a butcher. Her devotion in work and in school is inspired by the love that her father gives her, that is why she is convinced to work and struggle for her father. Even though Annika seems to be a sweet little child to her father, caring and thoughtful, most of the time Annika still wants to speak her mind, and even for rare occasions she disobey her father when in need.

Annika’s love for children cannot be compared to anything. Their laughter is somewhat addicting to Annika’s ears, though she knows that one day all those laughter would turn into tears and sweat from hard work, she still loves hearing it and knowing that she laughed so happily that way once in her life.

Annika hates the games,though she’s not very good at showing this hatred she has. She takes the tesserae every year giving it to other people who needs it more(with a lot of smiles that is habitual with Annika), making them think that it is just an excuse for her name to be added in the bowl.

Annika’s mother died years ago because of childbirth and it is a matter that rarely occurs in the Tobin’s conversation. Currently Annika is living with her father in a small house near the market, where Annika’s father works as a butcher. A few blocks away from this small house is a barnyard where Annika works as a caretaker for the animals.

When Annika first applied for the job, the barnyard manager doubted Annika’s skill, thinking about her two colored eyes that seems to be too odd. But he let Annika serve him for a week, letting her show what she can really do. At first, Annika who was not too familiar with the barnyard chores had been a little clumsy, but as the days passed by, she showed the people there how she could easily cope up to her new environment. The doubts became trusts and so everyone forgot about her two colored eyes and agreed to hire her for the job.

Annika never learned to complain about anything, since she can see with her own two eyes that everyone has nothing just like her and her father. Though at some times, just like when she was 7 and a little too young to manage hunger, she tried stealing some apples from a poorly made fruit stand. Peacekeepers chased her throughout the district and whipped her hard, helping her to acquire the huge scar she still bears on her back.

Annka's giving out tesserae is only for the character's modification of personality as a generous lady. =)
