Smock, Emea; Capitol Resident

Emea looks much more like a 17 year old then a 19 year old, but she doesn't really care. She has long, dark brown hair that reaches down past her shoulders and at mid shoulder length. It usually stays long for a while, and then Emea talks herself into cutting it. Many of her friend's say she will regret it, each year, but she cuts it anyway, and whines about the terrible short haircut she got. It's very unnoticeable, but she has a long strand of purple hair in the back of the head in her rebellious teenage years. She usually ties her hair in a fish net when it's at a long length. She has dark brown eyes, but soon Emea hopes that she can gets contacts, to change it to an exotic colour like violet. Her lips are usually of a cherry red color, and are very thin. Whenever she smiles, she has large dimples that cover her face. She has soft, tan skin which, unlike most capitol citizens, is natural. Emea has a soft voice, and often is found singing on the streets for money, as a side job. She already earns enough income to keep her small apartment in the residential area, but if you have a talent, why not use it to earn money?

Emea is tall. Not freakishly tall, but tall, at 5'8 inches tall. She's has a tiny figure, but a nice body. She models for the Capitol, so she has to work out and keep in shape. Emea doesn't believe in starving herself, so you often find her in the gym working out. But for some reason, even though she has been working out like crazy, she has been gaining weight rapidly. Emea even began a diet, but she is still gaining weight. She doesn't know the cause of this, but she knows it's irregular. Her neck isn't large, and isn't long, but mostly her legs contribute to her height. Many capitol citizens think of her as flawless, as she is the spokesperson for many companies, and even did a photo shoot promoting the Hunger Games.

Emea isn't the one to wear irregular outfits. She doesn't like to stand out very often, unlike most Capitol citizens. Instead, she just giggles to herself about the outfits some of them wear. Although, that doesn't keep her from looking stylish. She is often wearing brand name earrings, clothing, but none of which look like something a child would dress up in and pretend to be a Princess in. Her usual outfits include a small tank top with a very, very low V-neck shirt, with a long, flowing skirt to top it off.

Emea is often going to formal events, like banquets, parties, and wouldn't miss one for the world. She has a variety of outfits, from flowing long white dresses to short red, tight fitting more casual looking dress. Sometimes she even spends hours in a mirror trying to figure out what to wear.

Emea's friend's call her nicknames, like Emmy, Mia, Mee, and Em.

Emea usually doesn't usually start other conversations with other people. She prefers to think rather then speak. But, if someone begins a conversation with her, she'll chatter along with them as long as she wants. She likes to joke around a lot, but sometimes her jokes get a little to far and people get offended from her. Sometimes when people offend her, she can snap back and lash out on them. Let's just say, she has a short temper when someone offends her or her beliefs.

Emea is centred on one thing, to achieve in life. And that is fame. If she were in a District, she would be in District 1. She would train to be a career, and volunteer as a tribute, risking her life just to get that fame. But, she is in the Capitol, so it's impossible for her to compete in the games. Plus, she's too old. But, working as a model gets her fame up higher, and higher. She wants to be known, and when someone says "Emea" someone says "Oh, her, she's amazing!" Some people may think she is self-conceited for this, but all she wants is to be known.

Many people may not think of this when they look at her, but she is actually very intelligent. More cunning, actually, then intelligent. And cunning. She can figure out to get around and out of doing something she doesn't want to do. She is also very strong, from working out in the gym almost 24/7. But, her weakness is that she's terrible at lying and telling stories. Completely terrible. She has to tell the truth all the time, because her parents had always taught her good from bad - some of their teaching styles influenced on her, and some of them didn't. One of them that did, would be honesty. Emea was home-schooled all her life. Her parents didn't believe in public schools. They always said that they pay attention to certain students and the others fail because they never get to learn.

Emea has a major fear of cats. Nobody knows why, but she describes them as "things that stalk you at night with their yellow, glowing eyes and then will eventually paw your eyes out." Some people think it was from a bad experience with cats, but Emea refuses to tell anybody what and how she actually got the fear of them. However, she loves dogs dearly and would love to get one, as a loyal companion. Emea's secret hobby is collecting items with life quotes on them. Hidden deep in her closet, is a box full of key chains, dog tags, posters, even CDs. Although, everybody knows she loves singing.

Emea was born a bouncing, beautiful, baby girl at the Capitol's main hospital. The parents, couldn't decide what to name her. The mother wanted Emma, and the father wanted Mia. So they decided, to make everybody happy, Emea. Emea was brought home to their family's house - a 2 story beautiful house with a large backyard where Emea could play freely, and a playroom just for her. Along with her nursery room, filled with drawings of monkeys, horses, zebras, and other animals in the forest, jungle, and farms. The happy parents had great intentions for their new daughter, little Emea.

As Emea grew older, she began learning the basics in life. The ones that you cannot go without knowing. Like talking, and walking. Emea said her first word at 8 months old: "booboo" when she fell on top of some glass, and saw the blood trickling down her leg while she cried. She took her next few steps a few days later, when their parents were watching The Hunger Games while Emea tried to mock the moves the tributes were doing.

During childhood, her life was still as great as usual. Her parents began home-schooling her, but still entered her in a Daycare for children so she could interact with kids her age. That's where she met a few of her most prized treasures - her friends, and they are still together to this day. Although, Emea's life did have downfalls. When she was 7, her father got into a car accident. He did not die, but he fractured his spine and broke many bones to the point where he had to go in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. His fathers job required to be up, and walking, as he worked in construction. After his boss found out about the accident, he showed no mercy and fired her father.

By the time she was 13, her father was still jobless and needed was still searching for a job. They couldn't afford the bills to their house, so they packed up their home and moved into an apartment. They stayed there for the rest of Emea's life, until she moved out. Her father found a job shortly after that, but in fear of losing his job again, the family stayed in the small apartment where Emea spent her teenage years.

Shortly after Emea turned 18, she moved out into an apartment of her own. It was perfect for her. It was closed to all the nightlife, which she liked, and the apartment was like a living heaven to any young adult. Emea got a job as a model, and began posing for many different companies. This is when she discovered her vocal talent, and began singing on the streets to earn a little money on the side. One night, Emea was going to a party that her friend was hosting in celebration of all of the friend's young adulthood beginning. It was a wild party, and everybody started getting intoxicated except Emea. Her drunken friends pushed her into having a drink, and she forgot everything after that, except waking up in her apartment with her undergarments on, the bed sheets looking like a mess.
