Big, black and beautiful is how Labella Divine would refer to herself when asked. Not exactly a petite girl, Labella is still extremely comfortable and confident in her skin. Despite her age, the woman’s body still appears to be more youthful that its years. Part of this would be to do with the amount of cosmetic surgery which Labella puts herself through on a regular basis.

Usually, Labella’s hair is for a jet black colour. However, it has known to change between red and a baby blue on occasion. Whatever the colour of her hair, the style of it is always something, let’s say, out there? Labella is extremely brave when it comes to her hair, she will do any number of things to it. She tells herself that if it goes disastrously wrong, she can shave it all off and start again – and this has been known to happen several times throughout her life!

The woman’s facial features appear to be somewhat squashed however, as her thick skin seems to take over completely, especially when she is using exaggerated facial expressions. Her eyes, when not squashed behind facial creases, are a vivid blue in colour and are actually quite large when fully on display. Labella’s nose is fairly large and wide also, with her nostrils especially so. Although her lips are naturally fairly thin, Labella has had cosmetic surgery to make them appear larger. She also over lines them with liner and lipstick to achieve this illusion further.

Personality:

Labella Divine’s most distinguishable trait would be her overwhelmingly confident nature. When the large woman enters any room she commands and displays an air of power and authority. Even if Labella isn’t in a position to be so, she tends to have a way of making people respect her and think that she is in fact the correct person to listen to. She has a way of pushing her ideas forward in such a way that quite often people feel unable to and awkward when turning them down, so just let her have her own way eventually. Often coming across as brash and straight to the point, Labella is the type of person that one will either despise or simply adore and fall in love with.

The woman speaks with a rather low tone of voice. It would even be easy for one to assume that she is in fact a male if they hear her without actually seeing the woman herself.

Labella is known also for her extremely sort tempter. The woman can easily snap through any number of triggers. At times it can feel like one is treading on egg shells when in her company. Labella is also an extremely bitchy and twofaced woman who has no qualms about stabbing anyone in the back if she feels like it. A gossip monger, she will do anything to find out the juicy gossip, even if she doesn’t actually know the person in discussion. Labella is also fairly aggressive and has no qualms about physical violence as a form of punishment, and can regularly be seen hitting her children to discipline them.

Despite all this, Labella can be a good contact to have if she takes a shine or liking towards you. One who has the honour of this can expect her to go out of her way to help them. These people should also be careful however, as Labella going out of her way to help you means that she expects this back in return eventually, if not tenfold to her doings.

History:

Labella was born as the oldest of seven children to art gallery owning parents, Timorous and Imelda Gateaux. Young Labella lived a lavish life in the Capitol, and with money being disposable she received everything and anything that she wanted. This suited Labella, who enjoyed the finer things in life even from an early age.

However, starting from when the young girl was just five years old, her mother gave birth to a child a year for the next six years. With each new birth, Labella seemed to be getting less and less attention from her parents, this she did not enjoy or appreciate one bit. She turned into a foul, bitter and attention seeking young girl who would do anything to be noticed by her parents. All attention was good attention in the eyes of Labella, so she would regularly participate in acts which she knew were wrong to get noticed. Having turned into quite an aggressive girl, Labella would regularly hit her siblings in her quest for attention.

Slowly overtime, Labella began to grow out of this longing for her parents attention and matured, though some of the attributes were rooted just too deep to pull out. Upon graduating school, she began work as a stylist. An eccentric dresser herself, Labella enjoyed fashion and makeup. Her look was standoutish, even for the people of the Capitol. Labella enjoyed wearing massive avant garde dresses, her favourite ones being those of a red shade, seen as this was her favourite colour.

In her mid twenties, Labella began dating a fashion designer named Arnold Divine. The two seemed to click instantly, and rushed into marriage after just two months of first seeing each other.

Labella was determined not to have children, she remembered what it was like growing up with other kids as a child and did not want a repeat of this part of her life. Unexpectedly though, after a year Labella fell pregnant. She continued through with the pregnancy, with extreme pushing and pressure from her husband being probably the only reason. She birthed a son, whom the couple named Antonio. As the years passed, Labella fell pregnant several more times, all of which to her displeasure. Within ten years, Labella and Arnold became the parents of another four children, Alejandra, Hethal, Dunquan and Beethoven.

Determined not to have any more children, Labella decided to concentrate on her career and has been the same ever since. Working her way up to the top of a major styling company, Labella eventually opened up her own brand, self titled of course. For the past ten Hunger Games, Labella has worked as a stylist, choosing to work for a different district each time.
