Vladimir Romanoff ((Capitol)) (Finished)

Vlad is tall yet muscular, just as his father was, in fact most of his looks come from his father except for one thing and that’s his bright, blue, and rather endearing eyes which he got from his mother. Vlad is very handsome, his bone structure and posture shows that he is confident in his looks and of course has every right to. His skin is pale and blemished only by a thin two-inch scar across his cheek. Vlad's hair is blonde, rather messy, his hair color comes from his father, and mother combined, both having been blonde.

Although having been born and raised in the Capitol and having become highly successful he does not look like your typical Capitol Citizen in fact he is quite normal in appearance except for vine like tattoos on his upper right chest and upper right arm but that is nearly always hidden from view.

The way he dresses is always formal because of course his line of work requires it; his favorite color in the suits he wears is black, navy blue, and gray. When out in public away from work he simply discards his coat and wears his vest over a white shirt and no tie. His favorite form of eye protection is sun glasses modeled after the Aviator Sun Shades of the pre-war era.

Vlad is a cool, calm, and reserved lad. He can be out going in the right situations such as parties and social events, but when it comes to his work at the Capitol News Center, he is all business and no play. When it comes to the Hunger Games he becomes very blood thirsty and for good reason his family past is clouded with hatred for the Districts though when confronted with the tributes every year he is cool and collected.

Vlad is also a hopeless romantic he enjoys the romantic company of both men and women and does not care what anyone thinks of it; he loves romance and all it brings. If confronted with a very beautiful person he becomes rather shy and tongue-tied though this is the only time that this occurs.

He is very proud as well especially when it comes to his work at the CNC, if anyone ever insults him over his job or how he looks he stays calm and deals with it quietly, never wanting to cause a scene knowing it would mar his reputation at CNC. He does not get angry easy but when he does, he keeps it to himself and never lets it show. When sad or made upset or his feelings hurt, he holds it in until he is alone.

There is a great sadness about him to, but because of his personality, he tries to cover it up. Anyone who is around him can tell he is hiding a sad past. Several times throughout his teen years, he had emotional breakdowns when he of course was alone.

Vlad's grandparents fought to silence the great rebellion and died in the process. Their children had been born before they went off to fight. They were orphans... Long after the rebellion, Vlad's father William married Vanessa Dunbar and almost ten years after their marriage, they had their first child, but due to a terrible illness untreatable by Capitol doctors, their first child died at the age of three months.

Devastated the two did not try again until five years later, that is when Vlad was born. When he arrived there was already a great deal of blonde hair on his little head, and his bright blue eyes were open and curious. Vlad was a very smart child and had private tutors starting at the age of two, he was taught a second language, roman. He learned how to play the piano and by the age of eight could play The Horn of Plenty without a flaw.

When he was ten his mother developed cancer, it was very strong cancer and was untreatable, she died. This broke William's mind, he could not bear to look at Vlad anymore because of his eyes they looked so much like his sweet Vanessa’s. He made the arrangements and Vlad was then sent to private school. William and Vlad would never speak to one another again. During boarding school he held steady to his studies but as time went along he began developing quite a social life, he realized at the age of 17 that he had a liking for both boys and girls and took to dating both as often as possible and still made perfect scores in school. The only fight he ever was in was while he was in school; he had been cut across the face, which left a permanent scar on his pale cheek. Once he was done with private school he was immediately offered a job with the Capitol News Center, he covered everything thing from fashion to the Hunger Games. He even had the chance to attend a couple of reapings which he covered beautifully, now he is currently a closely followed and highly popular citizen in the Capitol, he is Chief Editor and Reporter of the Capitol News Center.

He is very wealthy and lives in the most expensive side of town, he is currently single but still attends social events in the hopes of meeting the love of his life. He is looking forward constantly to the next Hunger Games and covering them!!! He enjoys the company of Caesar Flickerman a great inspiration to him and has had the grand honor of shaking hands and having a long conversation with President Snow, His boss at the CNC gave him the greatest honor of interviewing President Snow every time the occasion arose. He also had the duty of interviewing the Head Gamemaker, something he greatly enjoyed as he had a great love for the Hunger Games. He now enjoys alcoholic beverages but not too much, he never makes himself drunk and he occasionally smokes.
