John-Paul Uriel - Capitol

Appearance:

John-Paul is at average height for his age, standing at six-feet-one-inch tall. He is particularly blessed in that he has a very good physique, comprised almost entirely of large muscles and rippling biceps. He's got the face of a sweetheart, though, with constantly blushed cheeks and pink lips. His skin is a very light golden brown, speaking of maybe a few days in the sun for toning.

John-Paul's hair is a darker golden blond, complimented by bright, ocean-blue eyes that have been described as "constantly sparkling" or "with the innocence of a child" or even "simply glowing with cheerfulness." On terms of John-Paul's dress, he has not yet stooped to the level of most of the Capitol's odd fashions, save for several tattoos on various parts of his body and he has had his canine teeth elongated and sharpened to a point.

Personality:

John-Paul, to an outsider, might just look like a shy little guy who couldn't hurt a fly (hey, that rhymed!). And that's what he is...on the outside. He's a sweetheart and a cuddlebug on the exterior, but when you go deeper, you'll find something closer to a roiling wave of suppressed sorrow. He's barely aware of this sorrow except for when he really thinks about it, at which point he goes a little bit loopy.

Beyond that, what John-Paul really is to everyone else is a gigantic teddy bear. He'll always have his arms open to anyone in need - or not in need - or anyone who even looks the slightest bit upset about anything. The downside? He has a habit of giving big bear hugs that crush people's spines. Oh, and he hugs people when they're angry, too. Like seriously. War? Just hug it out, man.

JP would love to say that he's not seen as a bit of a ho-ho-ho, but he is. You can't just look like him and not be desired. However, John-Paul refuses to succumb to that level, and instead prefers to just lovey dovey it up wherever he can. He'll kiss and hug just about anyone at all, but it ends there.

History:

John-Paul's family is a small, close-knit group of people. As it were, JP still lives with his mummy, as he needs to stay with her to care for her. Constantly having had to care for his parents, John-Paul has known nothing but compassion all his life. From the instant he was born to present day, he had been raised on the basis of "everyone needs love, no matter what." With that said, he is not a hater of the Games - he grew up with them, every year, once a year for twenty-one years.

As a child, John-Paul grew up under the hype of the Games. He was always under the impression that for the world to remain civil, the Games needed to happen. And in his world, this was true. He knew nothing other than the Capitol - and the occasional visit to past arenas - and it's wealth. He had always had more than enough to get by, and he was - and still is - ignorant about the poorness of the districts of Panem.

Now John-Paul works in a body alterations shop, specializing in physical changes such as implants, injections, plastic surgery, etc.. He has worked in the shop for about two years, and is one of it's most celebrated contenders, as he earns quite the payload from citizens of the Capitol that want to change their look. Which is pretty much literally all the time, since the Capitol has such a habit of constantly changing its styles.
