~Hayley Fhuze
This is so stupid..... Why am I even still here? Its sunny, and I can see the ocean calling my name Hayley.....Hayley..... OK, I'm going crazy. I'm sitting in the back of class, while the teacher drones on about the same Treaty of Treason speech he gives every week. OK class, you are dismissed. Please report to your next class. This is my chance! I hop out of my seat and dash out the door. I casually walk to the girl's washroom and peek inside to see if anyone's in there. I'm relieved when I see there's not. I jump on top of the sink and open the skylight. I'm barely small enough to fit, but somehow I squeeze through. I stash my books in the bushes a block or so away from the school, and run to my hiding place. This is where I hide my fishing equipment. It's in the alley behind the fish packaging plant. I shudder as I walk past the entrance, as I usually do, but keep walking. I strip down to the skully bathing suit I wear under my clothes at all times, and put my uniform in the bushes. I don my usual black visor, that covers my whole head and grab my fishing pole and net. My father's boat is on the west end, so I only have to walk a couple hundred yards to get to it. As I reach the boat, there's a mysterious guy hanging a few yards away from it. He's pretty tall and has blonde hair, and looks to only be a few years older than me. He's talking to another guy, probably from his crew, but then looks over at me. I feel that I know him, but at the same time have never met him. I turn away and row into the water without giving it a second thought.
