skipping mindlessly

"Well, shes strong, really strong," i tell him.. "Trust me, she told me amazing stories," i tell him... "Shes one tough cookie," i tell him, smiling at the thought of anne throwing the large pinecone down at the huge wolf... I let out a small laugh.. "I do miss her though," i tell him.

"Oh, sounds like someone is hungry," i tell him, smiling.. I bring my pack around.. "Here," i tell him, handing him a cooked rabbit... "Eat," i tell him, smiling, I pat his shoulder and take a look around the campsite... "Nothing's changed," i smile and continue to look around.

I giggle as i hear him scarfing down the rabbit. "Havent eaten today?" i ask him, gaining a somewhat serious tone. I turn to look at him. I take a seat where I had sat by the fireplace that one day. I wait for him to respond.

"And, why is that?" i ask him, an attitude coming on. "Damnit Elias," i say. "What were you thinking!" i ask him, angered and worried at the same time. He could've gotten really sick. "You could have gotten sick," i tell him, looking down.

"I-" i stop, not knowing how to respond to that. "Just dont ever do that again," i tell him, looking down. The tears are going to come.. "I'm- Im sorry," i tell him, in a small voice. "I shouldnt have said anything," i tell him.. "Its just..." i tell him just as the tears begin to flow. "Im sorry," i tell him. I look up at his face, he isnt happy, i dont think he is, but i dont know how to make him happy, this is the first time ive seen him since... I shake my head furiously. "I'll find her," i whisper to myself under my breath, he couldnt possibly have hear me, no matter how much pain it causes me.

I give him a smile and just stare up at his face, its like he read my mind or something, he tells me he is happy, here i am thinking he isnt. I dont understand it, i just want to hug him, maybe more, but i hate rushing those things. But i do really like him. "Okay," i tell him, "You're happy, thats all that matters," i tell him.. I dont know what to do now... I lean in and attempt to hug him...

Thats when i get this sick feeling in my gut.... Something isnt right.

And just as i think that, something goes definitely wrong.. There, right behind elias' bed... there she is.... No, it couldnt be possible, she wouldnt come back. Would she... "Anne?" I ask over Elias' shoulder. Wait, she's gone.. i shake my head.

I look over my shoulder, the direction Sega's looking at. No.. It can't be.. "Anne?" I ask, kind of as a question. "Anne, is that you?" I say once more. My stomach starts to clench and I don't feel so good...
