Dwyn Sparks
It was a peaceful day. The sun was warm and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Dwyn hated it. She liked doom and gloom. It gave the world a realistic twist. Not everything was all roses. Rain was good, it washed away her tracks, leaving her better able to hide. Not that she needed to hide very often. People didn't normally see what was right in front of them. She smiled at the thought.
Dwyn was sitting on the roof of someone's house, she didn't know or care who's house it was. She was watching the people below, waiting for the perfect target. Well that and for the PeaceKeepers to go away. They were so annoying, always there, never letting her get a chance. She frowned. Maybe she should just steal from one of them, it's not like she hadn't done it before. They were so easy to steal from, to arrogant to notice her hand finding the wallet in their pocket as she walked quickly past. Nope, they thought they were everything. Dwyn laughed, a grim sarcastic laugh.
She was about to give up and go find a house to steal from instead, "maybe the one I'm sitting on," when she heard footsteps on the gravel below her. She wasn't nervous just cautious. She pulled her feet up out of the view of any prying eyes. She unsheathed one of the knives in her belt and started playing with it casually, waiting for someone's curious head to appear. Footsteps could be heard on a ladder below. People were nosy, always wanting to know everyone else's business. Apparently this person was extra nosy. Dwyn grinned in anticipation. Maybe her target would come to her.
