Gil Freeman
The boy with long black hair and deep thoughtful eyes and pale skin got out of bed and dressed himself in black robes until there was nothing visible but his hands and his face. His face twisted into a scowl as he brushed his teeth and combed his hair. He tied one part of it into a pony tail and the other left it alone. His thoughtful red eyes stared into the glass that reflected his being. They seemed as if though they could pierce through your body and mind and tell what you were thinking. Gil, which was his name, walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen. His African American adoptive mother cooked some eggs and bacon for him. He sat down and tucked in. The sun reflected on his pale white skin as he ate. He squinted when he finished and complemented the chef.
Gil walked outside and took a deep breath of fresh air. His face still twisted into a scowl as he continued to walk. He took a right to go to the market place. He looked around and saw the blue sky shining due to the sun. His scowl tightened because he knew that once man had flown up there, but now everything was dead. So what did it matter? Everything was into proportion and nothing really was fixed, but Gil couldn't help but feel like his future was fixed into a bad life. He couldn't catch a break from people. He couldn't catch a break from anything actually. Sure, he may be handsome, but people hate him for is pessimistic ways. But he didn't care most of the time. The sun shone on his back, but the darkness seemed to suck all of the light. As he walked into the market, a lot of people became quiet so they could stare at him.
He just continued to walk until he saw this girl in a sundress. Had the sun come to tell him to stop sucking up the light rays? Or was this girl just crazy and stupid at the same time. She seemed to be going right at him. Was she blind? And was that a smile upon her face? It was definitely something that he had never seen before from others except from his mother.
