Appearance:

Adalyn Farron has quite a broad build, as being a part of District 7 obviously requires a significant amount of strength. Fortunately for Adalyn, she is quite tall for her age - about five foot seven, which allows her to stand a few inches higher than some of her friends. Due to her district having to work mainly outside, she has a slight bronzing from working long hours in the sun. Her face is slightly freckled, with a scar lingering on the corner of her mouth from her first experience with a real axe. Adalyn has an innocent, heart shaped face, which normally wears a firm expression.
Adalyn has auburn hair with a few lighter shades of ginger, and twirls into a long, wavey mess down to her elbows. Due to her hate of her hair colour, she normally hides the majority of her hair in a bandana. Freckles being a common characteristics in red heads, she has a few sprinkled lightly across her small nose. Her eyes clash with her hair - being a pale shade of green. With her bright hair and eyes not being a common feature in her district - she tends to stand out from quite a few of her friends and neighbours.

Personality:

Adalyn is generally quite a witty, sarcastic girl. Living around her shy, humble family doesn't seem to have an effect on her! Throwing around opinions and handling tricky comebacks generally comes naturally to her. Not many people like to mess with Adalyn - her tom-boy like ways aren't fun to be tangled up in!
Adalyn is also a very curious girl - if she sees other kids at her school gossiping, she'll always be eager to eavesdrop in and feast her ears on the sometimes interesting information. If she doesn't quite understand something, she'll generally find out herself.
Adalyn is also ridiculously judgemental - if a boy at school yells at a younger child, they're immediately a bully. If a kid always hands in their homework, they;re immediately a teacher's pet.
Even though she has quite a fierce personality, like everyone else, Adalyn has a deep fear. Ironically the same intense aura of her personality, Adalyn's greatest fear is fire. Due to a house fire at a young age, she can't stand the stench of smoke and the sickly heat of a blaze.
Adalyn is also quite skilled with her hands, as her occupation requires her to handle fiddly and difficult situations with wood. Due to this, Adalyn has found comfort in holding a crafted item of hers when she's feeling uncomfortable.

History:

Adalyn is the youngest in her small family of the Farron's - Evan, her father who's occupation is carpentry, her mother, who generally stays at home and tends to the house and her older brother David who is 17.
When Adalyn was just 8 years old, a few mischievous teenagers accidentally set the roof of her house on fire. Adalyn had been asleep at the time - and had woken up to a lack of air and a sight that brought her to tears - her beautiful house shrivelling into nothing but ashes. Luckily, Adalyn was rescued from the blaze by her father. Ever since, Adalyn has had an outrageous fear for fire.
Adalyn's current occupation is only part time, as she obviously attends the high school in District 7. She helps her father create items out of wood to sell to any willing buyer, and has become quite skilled with her hands.
Adalyn doesn't appear to have had the best grades at school - even from the early age of five, when she just started school, it appeared that she wasn't going to be as smart as other children in her grade. This resulted in Adalyn being bullied for being "stupid" and ended up causing her rough, violent personality that is considered unusual for a girl.
Adalyn and David are incredibly close and have been since a very young age. When Adalyn was failing at school, David would help her catch up. David would also help her learn how to fend off those horrible kids who found a need to tease her - David would even chase them off himself. Adalyn doesn't require extra education anymore, but is always firmly grateful for David's loyalty towards her.
