Challice looks like the usual female District Eight citizen for the most part. Challice has pale skin, for she never has gotten out much. She has an acne problem and it shows almost everywhere on her body. Her ears are pointed and small, and she is missing an earlobe on her left one. She has a slightly jutted chin with a small scar on it, running to her lips. Her mouth is of average size and color, and she has a pimple on her top one. Another scar on her face is right below her right eye, from an accident when she was small. Her eyelashes are small, and her eyes are almond shaped and chocolate brown. Her forehead is host to a colony of pimples, though her bangs hide most of the damage. Challice has shoulder-length, mud-brown, wavy hair, and as I said before, she has bangs.
Challice is 5’2, small for her age, but she pays no attention to her small stature. She weighs about 110 pounds, a bit bigger than most others, but understandable, considering her background. Challice’s weight is mostly in her thighs. She has small hands and fingers, good for her occupation. Her hands are scarred as well. Challice has a 9 ½ shoe size, with chipped nails. She is faster than she looks, for good reason.
As her physical flaws have been scattered, I will put them together in this one paragraph. Challice has an acne problem almost everywhere on her body. She has a scar on her chin and under her eye, and also on her fingers. She has chipped nails. She is playing host to a colony of pimples on her forehead. She is small, so not often noticed.

Personality:

Challice is a usually quiet girl, never having much reason to talk. However, since she is so deprived of talking usually, if you talk to her, she can become a chatterbox quite easily. She can appear girly a bit, but this is natural, since she actually is a *designer. Really, she’s only talking about her work! Speaking of work, Challice is hard-working, if you give her enough motivation. You need motivation to get to her, for Challice becomes easily bored, wanting to do something more fun.
Challice usually appears aloof and cold, looking snobbish. She is usually engrossed in school or her work, avoiding people for the most part. She is a bit hostile to strangers, so you would time and patience to get her to loosen up. She doesn’t have much faith in herself. Challice is self-reliant.
Challice is intelligent, with an I.Q. of 167, but doesn’t like to use them much. Her homework is often not turned in, with an excuse to go along with it. She regards homework as silly, but pays attention in school. She can be very difficult and stubborn, but accepts change with a few bumps. She is very protective.

History:

Challice Malgrow was born on February 28th, making her a Pisces. She was born to a 23 year old mother, Satin, and a 21 year old father, Canvas. She was also born unto an older sister (who was age 2 at the time), Aster. Her parents worked as designers, making clothes for the high class mayor. Challice grew up around needles and fabric, taking frequent trips to the designing room. AS soon as she was old enough, at the age of six, she worked as an errand girl, alongside Aster.
Even as a young girl, Challice was very quiet at school, but hard-working in her studies back then. She was a frequent victim of bullying. Nothing too bad, but for a six year old, she felt horrible. Boys dropped her crayons into the toilet, hid her stuff, and made cruel nicknames for her. Challice learned to ignore these taunts and move on with her life.
When Challice was eight, her mother moved her up a level in the business, the same level that Aster was now at; doing weekly surveys for the mayor, figuring out what clothes their family needed and such. This was horrible for Challice, who now hated talking to near strangers. Most of the time Challice shoved the job upon her peppy older sister, who was the complete opposite of Challice. Their mother, catching on, got very angry at Challice for this, and moved Challice to the duty of errand girl again. This, Challice decided, was her true calling. Never the less, Challice turned out to be wrong.
At age 10, Challice’s sister ran away from home, vowing never to return. The family didn’t grieve much, but nothing could repair the empty space in Challice’s heart. Challice took up Aster’s job, slowly, but doing it eventually- Junior Designer. Challice made shirts and blouses for the mayor, sometimes even a skirt or two. Seeing an opportunity, Challice took notes of patterns and lighting, trying to train for “camouflage” for the games, on the chance that she would be picked. Challice has taken a lot of tesserae.
